-_-' Marriage itself is a bullshit ritual anyways, so why not conform to the standards of bachelor parties?

Taking that into account, your brother might not want them either. Does he go to strip clubs often? Has he ever mentioned having them at his bachelor party? If he doesn’t want them there then it may make him feel uncomfortable if you bring one. People can say whatever they want but some people just don’t like them, or the idea of having them at the party. You could ruin the night or make it really awkward for a moment if he does not want anything to do with a stripper. I would ask him lest you do something he does not want. If he often entertains himself with strippers and whatnot at the strip club, then it will probably be fine by him.. I would still ask him to avoid doing something that makes him uncomfortable.

OT: Sure its "okay." It depends on the crowd - on the bachelor in particular. I think you have a great party planned. Add in lots of meat for a great barbecue and some more entertainment options for downtimes and you are good to go. Maybe you could rent a boat or something - since you are at a lake?!

Cover band, original, whatever, it's up to you. It'll cost more but it's been more fun ime. Then hit the bars and a strip club later if you want. --- No real stripper-related experience, other then the common knowledge of their prices. Why would a band sound cheesy. People hire bands all the time for private parties and weddings. They pay well too, from a band member point of view.

Starting out in a marriage like that probably isn't the best thing imo. I've never been to a bachelor party without a stripper, and in all cases the wife already knows about it. That's what happens at bachelor parties, so what? Why would the wife care? A lot of guys I know are married and still allowed to go to strip clubs. It's not a big deal to have a stripper at a bachelor party, it's like having a birthday cake at a birthday party. Some people don't like cake. Most do.
