I've been shining up my resumé and looking for jobs in the field I went to school for after being delayed because of one of my parents becoming quite ill. I've been noticing a very chicken/egg situation that a couple of places have made when posting their requirements. They are posting entry level (implying just out of school, first job in the field) jobs but want multiple field-related work references. How does that even work? Outside of internships there's not really any way to do that. If you have a situation like my school where there were a very limited number of internship spots then you're basically SOL for these types of job postings. Another silly thing related to this all is workplaces that require references to get the job, but as part of policy say that nobody at your workplace is not allowed to give you a reference if you decide to move on. It basically fucks over anyone wanting to leave and seems like a very strange double standard. Luckily I've found people at mine who are willing to break policy to help me out. | ||

The latin alphabet is complete shit at portraying most modern languages and no one is trying to replace it with a better system. You know what, latin alphabet, that's a little too easy. Where is the challenge? What if we took one of those vowels, y, and we made it completely useless by giving it the same vowel sounds as I? I am going to evacuate the United States if Donald Trump wins the election and I will not look back and the sinking, flaming ship that was once one of the greatest countries in the world. Fuckin' hell man, I did not expect to have to worry about this and even if she wins if its not a serious win then I just do not know. It really feels like people are actively trying to get back to stupider times. | ||

The hours I've waited for YOU in the fucking cold outside of a fucking heated car? YOU'RE pissed? I walk along a fucking high way for an hour after work to get to wait in the fucking cold for another few hours for you MULTIPLE TIMES WEEKLY and YOU'RE pissed that the FIRST FUCKING TIME you've had to wait for me since I started this job happened and you had to wait in your fucking car for 20 fucking minutes. Not to mention that I do the fucking grocery shopping and it involves me carrying the fucking groceries by fucking hand across a shopping complex. But man, you have to drive, what a horrible terrible thing, you own a car! What ever will you do if you have to sit inside of it for 20 minutes again! You may not survive!
