A good friend, or so I thought, sold me a thing. I thought I was getting a good deal. When I opened it up it became clear that some parts were corroded in a way that he couldn't have missed. It doesn't affect function but the price I paid no longer seems like a good deal. In fact I got screwed a little and probably couldn't sell it for that much if I was honest about the rust, I would lost maybe $50-75 on a $750 purchase. I feel betrayed as fuck.

All the smokers I know are such miserable and pathetic human beings. It's midnight and I have a friend crashing here, the guy smokes too much, he's watching TV in the living room and I know he's working tomorrow and he wakes up early for that.

Every 15 to 20 minutes for the last 3 hours, he gets up, walks outside, smokes for 5-8 minutes and comes back. For some reason I find it disgusting and so profoundly sad, especially because I know he does the same thing during the winter when it's -20C outside, and somehow the urge to smoke is so fucking strong that it somehow beats out the wildest bad weather. This is a guy so fucking controlled by his vice that in the middle of the movie he's watching, he makes the decision of going outside to smoke, in the middle of the night, every 15-20 minutes, missing bits and pieces of whatever he's watching.

It's making me angry and I'm literally losing respect for the guy because I can't help to see his addiction as anything other than weakness. I know people who smoke a few cigarettes a day when it's convenient, but having to go outside like 10 times in 3 hours to smoke? Fuck you you spineless piece of shit. You've told me literally 5 times "no this time I'm really stopping" before not even actually trying to stop. You're a garbage human being.

Last smoke break ended 7 minutes ago at 00:18, let's see how long until he goes for the next one.

Fuck man. I'm trying to play 2v2 to relax and portrait farm as random and almost every match I play I end up in a heated arguement with my teammates. Blocked like 6 people in one session. Fuck this shit.

Other gun owners in Canada have this comradery that I can't share with them. Lots of them are fucking assholes and idiots. Yeah I also live in a constant state of terror. I prepare for every eventuality. The most hardcore gun dude I know literally texts while driving, plays around the limits of our laws regarding blood alcohol levels while driving, and he doesn't have a fire extinguisher in his house. He also smokes. And amidst all those highly dangerous things that he does, he's really concerned about getting killed by a random person in downtown Montreal during work hours.
