Keep it civil guys.
Alright I am sick of warning people: Trolling, flame baiting, and derailing will result in insta bans. The same goes for conspiracy theorists and stupidity generally.
Confirmation was as follows - On-site DNA test which came back as 99% positive. - photos of face sent to CIA and confirmed with photo analysis - confirmed by 20 year old wife who live in pakistan.
This thread is specifically dedicated to the details surrounding the raid/his death. |

Solely based on this thread, I'm obviously implying I'm an expert on Germany. Germans are very much against America, is how I would put it. €dit: Don't mean to generalize, not all of them of course. But the amount of anti-american racism in Germany is disturbing. Racism ??? What the hell. America made so many bullshit in these past 20 years, being "against them" a little bit is just normal I suppose, this has nothing to do with racism... lol

And I don't buy the whole 'freeing Afghanistan' schtick any more than I did with Iraq. I fear that you don't understand my point. The western didn't try to stop the production of opium, they want it to continue contrary to the taliban. Then why did the U.S bomb 300tons worth of Opium seeds in Afghanistan?
Yeah and that.

On Taliban's side, they started to use it as an income after the invasion, so it was logical to destroy it.
@Ky, don't think it's the only reason, but the economic aspect is interesting, and we can't deny it's important. After it you can try to explain 42 countries by the US and public opinions (9/11 shocked every occidental public opinion, how not go to catch them after...). That doesn't sound really realistic to me. But I clearly agree that the problem is the coalition, not the US.
I think that'll never no the real reasons, there is obviously hidden interests that we seem to not be able to understnad.

Celebrating a guy getting killed is very very weird to say the least. zeru said that he was... but that's not the point. Just like zeru isn't sad that a terrorist died, americans aren't celebrating someone being murdered. They're celebrating justice being done. People are commenting with out picking up on the fact that he was armed when the special forces landed in. That being said even if he was holding a sign that said "please don't shoot, I surrender, and am very sorry" and he was shot under those circumstances we'd still be happy and say that justice was done.

It's funny how when they finally found him it almost seems irrelevant. A lot of people have died in the process of finding this guy, in fact the US have essentially managed to create the most perfect breeding ground for terrorism possible in the middle east.

Seriously? He admitted he killed 3000+ innocent civilians and plotted to kill more, thats like at the very least 30,000 years imprisonment, which will never be served because he can't live that long which will result in being given death penality.

this all thing is bullsh** seriously, how can anyone believe it without any proof whatsoever, they ve been chasing osama for 10 years w/o any results, and now suddenly "hey osama dead, no lie mens"
|
Edit* just saw an arabic news paper that said he died 1week ago and this "news" has first been shown to public for various reasons,

HAHAHAHAHA! "Buried at sea." I can't believe you all fall for this shit.
So Obama lied about almost everything he got put into office for - getting us out of Iraq, getting rid of post-9/11 liberty compromising legislation, mending the economy, etc. etc., AND the issue of him likely not even being from this country is coming to a head and SURPRISE!
Who's to say the CIA or whatever intelligence agency didn't fabricate intel, use the military to take out bin Laden's son's, and finally dump the evidence into the bottom of the ocean?
I want justice for 9/11 as much as the next guy, BUT WE DON'T HAVE IT HERE.
protip: whenever the government/media appeals to you emotionally instead of rationally, you need to start asking some damn questions instead of choking down whatever they feed you.

I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist but the capture just sounds too "convenient" to have coincided with Obama's reelection. Found him in a mansion in Pakistan? Buried in the sea?

well... that took some time, dont get me wrong, im glad hes dead but i would have liked him to go on trial and here what he has to say, could have been interesting to hear. also this is not the end of terrorism someone else will probably step up and "replace" Osama and i dont want to know what he has to do to prove himself capable of replacing Osama.

My tax dollars aren't gonna go to housing that asshole for the rest of his existence. Bullets are much cheaper and effective at resolving the issues.

I always though Osama was a scapegoat, someone they picked to have a face of a made up enemy. I may be misremembering since it's so long ago, but didn't they come out and say that he was responsible for 9/11 just days after it happened?

"News" can be news even it it happend a week ago.
And it makes sense that they wouldn't just exclaim "WE KILLED BIN LADEN!" right away. (like if they were wrong for instance)

You doubter are being stupid. If the guy is alive expect a video to be released shortly stating that he is; I'm pretty sure he is dead. A SEAL team did the deed and I seriously doubt a group of hardened professionals like that killed the wrong guy.

You may not want it but you do sound like a conspiracy theorist. Sort of like the people claiming Bush was behind 9/11 because "presidents during war time always get reelected."
