Has anybody seen that meme which is scoring/ranking/comparing/contrasting villains? Also, the "Dark Voice" in SC2 is very evil indeed. Edit: I'd like to add Miles Edgeworth too. Didn't finish the game but he was cool... has what the protagonist doesn't have.

What could be more awesome than a fat dude in some kind of LED armor singing opera and shooting lightning bolts.

It's quite difficult for me to categorizing him as a villain. I didn't say Jecht was a villain, i said Sin was the villain and Jecht was the best hero because he restrained Sin from inside for ten years and helped with Sin's demise. read my post entirely before you make a comment k ?

Hercules: You like making deals. Take me in Meg's place. Hades: Hmm. The son of my hated rival trapped forever in a river of death. Hercules: Going once... Hades: Is there a downside to this? Hercules: Going twice... Hades: Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. You get her out. She goes, you stay. [Hercules dives in to save Megara] Hades: Oh, there's just one thing. You'll be dead before you can get to her. That's not a problem, is it? Phoebus Abel from Saint Seiya. The scene where he is playing the harp for Athena is one of the few things I remember from my childhood. All he wanted to do was cleanse the Earth.

Also Lufia/Iris/Erim/Seena (she sure has lots of names...) from the Lufia Series. Only a sidequest, but awesome regardless: Abyssion from Tales of Symphonia The 13th Colossus, if you wanna call it a villain Oh and... Asakura Ryoko

He is so baller. YES! favorite video game villain because he was so charismatic.

- Rubicant from FF4. Sometimes an honorable bad guy is pretty cool. - Ivan Drago from Rocky 4. Cheats, "I must break you.", etc. Nevermind the cold war overtones of the whole movie... - The Joker (but only the version from Dark Knight... He was pulled off as intelligent, crafty & insane as opposed to the cartoony treatment he gets everywhere else) - Hannibal Lecter. Anyone for some fava beans and a fine Chianti? - Emperor Palpatine. Played literally everyone for fools in more ways than one, consolidating everything under his reign through cunning political machinations and using people as puppets. Also, he kicked Yoda's ass. - Psycho Mantis. It's awesome how he interacted with you, the player, as opposed to the character you're playing. - Sovereign. Being the harbinger to the annihilation of the whole galaxy, mind controlling everyone, revered as a god by a race it views only as tools, etc. - Saren. I love logical & badass villains, particularly when they think they're doing good. Saren fits that to a tee. He also had one of the more unexpected boss fight resolutions at the end of the game. - Shodan. Probably partially the inspiration for Glados, but much more menacing and badass. - Arthas & Kerrigan were both great but were more or less ruined by their subsequent games... - Agrael / Raelag, although that's kind of the exact opposite growth that Darth Vader had. I'm sure I'm forgetting tons of good ones
