But in turn became a demon god, let's his apostles devour his comrades, rape his second lieutenant and scar her for life, destroyed the protagonist spirit. Everyone is rooting for him in the comics(better deceiver than satan), even I myself can't see him as a villain. Also looks like a freaking boy band which I hate so much | ||

He was fantastically creepy and sadistic, and it was especially effective when coupled with his good alter-ego and his relationship with Buffy.
