Jeong Seok means normal or standard but I'm not sure if it still holds that meaning when you have it as a name. Oh and Yo Hwan means 'from the forest' right?

I can read Korean and speak it conversationally and I have seen Boxer's name written down on hundreds of occasions. I cannot see any reason to believe there should be anything resembling an English 'y' sound at the start. I have also spoken with countless Koreans about Boxer and never heard any of them pronounce it with a 'y' sound. Same goes for 'Lee' and 'Yi'.
