I played cheese 6 drone pool on lt as a second game with a good gamer and when he saw the 6 lings coming he just left and told me he will never play with me again. WHY? Because he is not brave enough to use his 9+ probes to kill my lings? Not even mantioning the almost ready gate! After all i got only 5 drones at home so even if he loses 4-5 probes the game is even! So what's the big deal! Just play to the very end and don't complain! | ||

i think hovz is being a mofo for not detecting a cheese quick enough and he can not stop a 8 dt drop, could it be sadist was "playing" him? | ||

I know this definition can and does vary per person...but that is my personal definition of it. If ur curious...a more detailed definition of my opinion of "cheese" is below. the 6 pool or bunker rush that were mentioned....are so NOT cheese imo....those are strategies...and executing them effectively varies....it varies on how good u can pull it off...and on how good ur opponent is at stopping it...or countering it....which to me shows ones skill I mean..everyone starts with the same amount of money minerals and men (or are supposed to)...so what u do with that is up to u...u have to create or take advantage of ur opportunites to win one way or another....I mean is it not your goal to defeat your opponent? so if u think (or it just feels like) u can win the game, or get a mental or physical advantage from bunker rushing ur teching toss opponent...then I say u should do it...otherwise ur not taking advantage of your opportunites and just putting urself at a disadvantage imo...and if suceeding in it or countering it makes ur opponent run from playing u again or makes him curse u for months...then that to me is a sign of job well done....cuz he was ur "enemy" to begin with right? live, learn, and have fun doing it so anyhow...to the other side of the coin...in calling something cheesy...I'd be referring to either the game or the players...the players are easier to describe what I would mean (and are alot more plentiful)...to me its someone who vision hacks or uses a hack, or names the game FFA when really they are going to ally their friends or friends...or someone who hosts a game on a rigged map (which alot of times I actually join just to see how cheesy they are, and try to still win) But then if I was to call something about the game cheesy...thats harder to do....since the game (imo again) is a really solid game....but I think it can be said... Take regular Lost Temple for instance...I think that in comparison to Gamei, Neo etc, it is a cheesy map for a couple of reasons...at 12's natural and second natural....a terran player can not build a comsat station on his expoed cc's (well not in their original thought of to be positions)....and also a terran player can cliff-siege 3's gas at his main...and I think that is cheesy....mainly because no other race can do that | ||
