I wrote the story before Wings of Liberty was released so some things may not align with WoL. For instance, I used my own take on Infestation to explain the change from the sc1 infested terrans to the sc2 brand. I'm well aware that in WoL they are still using a hyper-evolutionary virus, not the method I describe, but I play that off as being just one method of many.
