And welcome back to another month of boasting about who has the best pretty colors on their computer! =D Since it's December, feel free to post more festive wallpapers, but you can obviously just post whatever you like.
Some ground rules, as always:
1)Post your sources for your desktops, please! It does no good to anyone if your sexcellent image doesn't come with a source. 2) Remember to use the "Upload Image" function on the top-right corner of your posting box when posting your wallpaper. 3) When posting multiple wallpapers in a single post, please put them in spoiler tags to save space. 4) Speaking from prior experience, many people like to use the Rainmeter program to customize their desktops. While it's not required, if you have a particularly awesome Rainmeter setup, it'd be great if you explained how you got that setup, since odds are you'll be asked about it anyway.
EDIT: Some people apparently don't know what Rainmeter is. Rather than take up more space in the OP, I'll direct you to Rainmeter's website FAQ, which should tell you all you need to know.
One last thing: I noticed that yeti, the November thread creator, had a nice idea with the "Hall of Fame" for wallpapers that month. I'd like to incorporate that as well! The Hall of Fame will be reserved for the images that impress me / the general public most. Those images will be placed here for posterity.
EDIT: First Hall of Fame picture added! EDIT 2: Second Hall of Famer added! The entirety of Krigwin's post is archived simply for being so awesome. Seriously, don't pass these up! EDIT 3: Third Hall of Fame image added! I lol'd at this one. + Show Spoiler +
Fairly simple setup, rocketdock, autohide taskbar for use if I ever need to use stuff not in the Rocketdock, rocketdock also autohides as well as hide icons on desktop. I just use a rotation of my own semi-decent(if I may be alittle self appreciative) abstract backgrounds that I make with cinema 4d + photoshop from scratch.

This is Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall in Iceland. I lived in Iceland for 2 1/2 years and every time I see this, it reminds me why I need to go back again.

I'm making a TL rainmeter skin if anyone is interested. This is just the first part, it has the Upcoming events. .
Gonna work on making it show what's currently live. I think making it show live streams is redundant since there could be up to 20 at times. Any other suggestions? When im done ill post my full desktop

Obviously interested, make sure to create a thread when it's done
And please include a "How-To" file or something, because Rainmeter can be complicated for noobies like me.

So theres my humble desktop. I stole the background from a desktop thread. I've had it for awhile and very comfortable with it. Not sure if ill stick to it.
I don't have too many skins but here are the "special" ones i made.
This one checks the download rate(Max too) and Upload rate of Vuze/Azureus on my desktop(right) and my laptop(left) -----------
This other skin here, the one to the left, lets me switch between monitor/TV/TV+Monitor (need ATI for this one) --------- And Finally, TEAM LIQUID!!!!!
Here is where i'll be posting information regarding the TL skin, please spam there with questions and what not. If you don't see a link in that other thread it means im still updating it so give me 10 minutes =p

I'm back with another wallpaper. This one has fairly large dimensions (something like 4000x1620 or something like that), so it might not be ideal for your computer, but it's still very cool.
I just wanted to show people that mac users can have great looking desktops too. These screenshots are not from this month, but I have never posted them at TL before so forgive me.
the 3 other ones have been posted already, ty Ixas <3
I was wondering where do you actually get those wallpapers,do you make them yourself?really loving the kara 1 and will be using that during christmas probably.
Here's the pics i rotate for my Desktop. I was in CGS for season 2. but lost my 3DNY wallpaper Most of my pics are from Konachan.com Warning thou they dont moderate what images go up so sometimes there random porn. but hey have a lot of good anime wallpaper
I wasn't able to upload the wallpaper itself, it's original resolution is huge, so I just took a screen instead, I've been using this wallpaper for over a year, tried to change it but it just didn't compare.
The Link (Along with some of my mastercraft collection of among the best PC games of all time)

omg can you please tell us how to get the image to constantly change on the desktop?! i never knew you could have a changing desktop wallpaper. i thought it was just screensaver.
Edit:
You select both wallpapers! then you select set as desktop! they will change! omg do you have more colors?!
Where do you get pictures like that? I found a "ghost cat" just like that. Even though it's kinda creepy and it doesn't fit well on my resolution, I like it...
All pictures taken from a friend of mine. I was there for the TP one. All of them are legit ^^ no photoshop n such. Shes pro~ lol. the Rain drop is my current back ground.

LOL at the toilet paper. Can you please post some larger picture? I mean not resised, the original high res.

Hm. I feel like I should tell you guys, that there are actually a few programs that change wallpapers availible on the net. Few years ago I didn't use them because of low computer specs and general freezes (windows 98) etc. But now... Now I have discovered a little program that is really user friendly and have LOTS of options. It runs so smooth, it's like a friggin ninja. I guarantee it - you won't notice it AT ALL. Unfortunatelly I'm at work right now and I don't remember the name, but as soon as I get home I will edit this post with the name. My desktop generally don't see the same wallpaper in more than 5 minutes at a time, but you can change it I think down to a seconds even. Of course hours/days/restarts/other events can trigger the change, too. It's all customizable as well. It uses folders and it even has a friggin profiles option. I change my wallpapers according to my mood. It's damn great. I use it so much I wouldn't even know what is a "one wallpaper" anymore. I know, I sound a little like some kind of commercial, but I like it sooooo much.

Sadly i dont have the originals on my computer. D: these are from a few years ago so i dont have the high res. But yea, the TP one is epic, cant believe it turned out like that. Was at a park/waterfront area around here thats woodsy. Just took it outside and took a picture of it. Couldnt see anything but the TP. Awesome. lol

You HAVE to be talking about Wallpaper Master, you basically described every feature it has. And yes it's great, I've been using it for about a year and a half now. :D Been using the free version and it does everything you could possibly want from a simple wallpaper rotator. http://jamesgart.com/wallpaperchanger/download.html
sorry the wall paper was shopped... so theres really no source. the original pic was in a rar in which i dont remember where i got it from. if someone wants me to upload then i will
playing with multiple desktops, enjoying it so far, helps organize my windows quite a bit more, and its only 2 mb on my memory too, love how light it is <3
Sometime, people ask for the source and the other person never respond. You could use http://www.tineye.com/ to find the best match of the background. I used, it is very useful and it had a plug-in/add-on whatever is called for Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE.

Since the guy was kind enough to NOT put source (what's so hard about sources... oh well don't mind my rage) I googled it and managed to find it out after a few attemps:

Sorry i forgot to post sources earlier, here they are.
Rainmeter skins is using the omnimo pack, just his text item one. the websites launcher is originally 8 squares, i added two more (you can link folders from your explorer too, not just your internet). The icons in the applications panel are mainly lucids icon pack. The league of legends, starcraft 2, and black ops icon are made by me.
multidesktop application is dexpot. its the lightest weight, and easily best in its class. I've tried almost every other virtual desktop program out there, they cant compare.

I'll preface this by saying that I am not a Final Fantasy fan. I got a new dual-monitor for Christmas and wanted something gaming-related when testing how to create dual-monitor wallpapers on different heights, made even more complicated by the fact that my primary monitor is on the right side.
I pulled it off 4chan and can no longer find it Here's the closest I found on DeviantArt. This is likely the original artist, and then the 4chan one used these shapes and added the planet/colors/etc. Then I reversed the colors (to make it white on black) and colorized to make it a blue duotone.
I'll post the source when I get home (for some reason, the site is blocked at work), but until then, just google image search for "guitar" and set the image size to exactly 1920x1200. It should be the third result.
