If you don't want a shitty hangover after a big party drink lots of water before going to sleep, the reason for hangovers are dehydration when the liver is working hard to remove the alcohol from your body. (or atleast so I read)

This is important for a variety of reasons: 1) Eating breads causes your body to produce insulin which pushes fats into storage centers, as well as pushing carbs into their own storage centers. 2) Breads actually make you feel sluggish/tired throughout your day because of glucose spikes and crashes. 3) This advice includes all breads (whole wheat/multi-grain too.) 4) Cereal may be the single most evil creation of man ever. 5) If you are very strict with this diet, you will actually get a six pack with no working out involved. The main storage of energy for carbs is in your midsection. 6) The only carbs you should eat are fruits and veggies ^^.
Edit: Also don't listen to the popular food pyramid that has breads as your core dietary food. Meat is your friend. I dont know if coincidence or not, but i almost never eat bread(except in sandwhiches and maybe pizzas, which i dont eat too often), and the thing is i never exercise though i do have a pretty nice six pack, and i am not really skinny.

Your eye only needs a couple seconds to adapt to light, but minutes to adapt to the dark.
Just read this... well i must say that this wont work since eyes share the same reflect so if your open eye gets light your other will get a pupil constriction too even if its close.
On life tips....
if you have a hard time waking up, drink a glass of water before going to bed, in 5-6hrs your bladder will be so full you will wake up to pee, specially usefull if you have no acces to a alarm.
when you hit any part of your body, aply ice ASAP for atleats 20min, then drop the ice, keep normal, in 1hr ice again, this will avoid most of the swelling.
Use Centor criteria yourself to decide if you need to see a doctor for a sore throat, if you have 3 or more points, go to see your doctor since you need antibiotics if you have less than 3 points, just bare a few days and all will be fine, and you would have same some good money.

We've all been heart broken before. Doesn't matter the situation, the effects on our body, mind, "soul", "heart" are all the same..
It hurts, sometimes it's rejection, or just a situation out of your control. All unfortunate paths lead to the same distraught feeling so this might help.
To move on... to forget... or even to get someone back.., you must let go. It might seem counter intuitive but the longer you hold on to something, or force something.. or even fear something.. it will end up making you self destructive.
You need to let go. You don't have to forget, but you need to let go.

Actually I think he might have a point, its not related to the "consensual reflex" where both eyes constrict. He is actually referring to Rhodopsin
From Wikipedia: Rhodopsin, also known as visual purple, is a biological pigment in photoreceptor cells of the retina that is responsible for the first events in the perception of light. Rhodopsins belong to the G-protein-coupled receptor family and are extremely sensitive to light, enabling vision in low-light conditions.[1] Exposed to light, the pigment immediately photobleaches, and it takes about 45 minutes[2] to regenerate fully in humans.
THIS is what makes you see better in the dark as he mentioned, which is why you need a few minutes to regain full vision when you transition from Bright ---> Dark. Also some people think that its also responsible for the colorful aura-like stuff that you see when you close your eyes after looking at a bright light source.
Not a big fan of the centor criteria but that is another discussion.

I'd like to add: If you can't let go, for whatever reason, seek help. I know you're sure a therapist can't do anything about your particular problem but that is how everyone who's ever needed therapy has thought. You will never get back the time and opportunities you lost while you were debilitated by your heartbreak.

It's true. I've been in therapy before... to help with something that really affected me. Time has past and well guess what...? Heartbroken again, haha..
It sucks and it still hurts just as much but there's a stronger side of me that knows that I've conquered the depression before and I can do it again.
A therapist won't tell you what to do or think.. you don't have to feel judged
The main thing I found it useful for was... just someone to talk to. Friends and family are great but there comes a point where you don't always want to talk about problems with the people you love.
You want to talk about your interests, hobbies, setting up plans to hang out. You want to be normal and not drag the people around you down.
Having a therapist to help listen to your feelings allows you to talk in a healthy way and at the same time be able to hang out with friends, meet new people and love your family members without as much pent up sadness.
It's not easy. not easy at all. Like I said, I've been through it before and made it over the hill; found a new person to love and once again knocked down. I'm hurting right now but I have to trust that by letting go, I'll be able to come back happy and confident again. And who knows, maybe by letting go, she might return. It's not hoping, it's just letting go.

Also drinking water throughout your alcohol consumption is better than just drinking water before you go to sleep but obviously that might not always be at the front of your mind, so just make sure you switch to water when you've hit your limit or stopped your alcohol intake. Using these ideas I am able to drink a lot more than most people and have a very quick recovery hangover even though I have barely any fat content to my body, and don't really have a very high alcohol tolerance (although drinking a lot is never good for your health).
On a general diet note, I wouldn't say you need to eliminate bread altogether, though I don't eat a ton of bread myself as it just happens that way (sandwiches are delicious though). Variety and moderation is the key to life as it is the key to diet. Personally my biggest focus is to only eat things that contribute some nutrition to me, eating things that are natural (usda organic if you can afford it), limiting sugar intake as much as possible (this means no soda or candy, and very rarely would I eat a dessert, most people have the hardest time eating less sugar but it will really pay off if you make the switch), and making sure everyday I get protein, fruits, and vegetables (color is a good indicator as how nutritious vegetables are). Also be aware that we dye so much of our food it's stupid, and we also use a lot of preservatives which are both bad. Speaking from the viewpoint of an American but the general food tips pertain to all.

Don't drink any kind of soda on any semblance of a regular basis.

You also might find it harder to get drunk though :-P probably the 'healthiest' way to get drunk is spirits and healthy chaser such as tequila shots and lime. Won't have any of the extra calories that come in beer/mixed drinks

Life trick #1:
If your having problems losing weight or staying at your normal weight:
Make proteins the main part of your plate. Meat, cottage cheese, tuna etc. etc.
It takes your body a lot more energy to live of off proteins than it takes to live of off carbs. And high protein intake will also help you with hormone levels, hunger problems and muscle mass. Hormone levels will stabilize making you a happier, more stable person. It takes longer for your body to break the proteins down to energy, keeping you feeling hungry for a longer period of time. And the well known one, proteins and AAs are needed for muscle gain and also for keeping the mass you already have.

Best life trick i learned:
Go to sleep early, your body will thank you, and your mind as well, making the entire day be a lot nicer than normally. Basicly, you can Enjoy work.
Drink a lot of water, keep your body clean, and that keeps you looking young,
Lower stress with carefull planning and a good ammount of humor (easy for gamers i think), lower the ammount of sickness you can be atacked by vastly.

Though if i'm outside and i'm hungry i'll go and get me a sandwhich or something(one of the rare occasions i eat bread) although i don't usually eat outside.

only time i have grains with a meal is usually as part of a mostly meat sandwich or i'm grabbing fast food. some combination beef/chicken/pork/eggs/greek yogurt/milk/fruits/veggies comprises all my meals. probably more cooking than the average person but worth it.

I got one that I highly value:
Walk fast.
Seriously guys. It is such a valuable skill to have. It will probably save you a few years of time in your life, get you better exercise, and make your life way better.
Since people walk slowly generally, you will get to places much faster and get in lines before they get long.
This does not apply to dating.
