I spent a couple of hours in the Aussie summer sun a few days ago and I feel fucking incredible right now, like I've just re-started some vital process which was suspended for years. It's been a few years since I've spent any time in the sun (been pretty reclusive since my last relationship ended and I quit my job), and more than 5 years since I was tanned. Can't wait to see what this summer will bring.

The color and smell has to do with nutrient levels in the urine, which can be influenced by frequency of urination, hydration level, diet, health of liver/kidneys, and blood flow. This is true. Generally, if you're drinking a lot of water, your urine will be much clearer, but it's not the same for everyone. Color is only really a problem if you're seeing brownish (hematuria), otherwise it's most likely a diet thing. Excessive (I mean REALLY excessive) bubbles can potentially mean that there's proteins in your urine which would be a sign of failing kidneys. Also if urinating gives you a burning sensation, same thing (though that could just be STDs)

I don't mean like kick them down though lol; I mean angle your foot up, move it so it's touching the door, and step down. Then, the door is opened with little or no effort needed. It works much better when you have some forward momentum and obviously only works when the door opens away from you. This might not work for people who have small feet (mine are size 16 4E LOL), but it's worth a try. I have size 9 feet and I can confirm that this trick still works. Especially great for when your hands are full.

Can't wait to see what this summer will bring. The paradox of living in Australia is: avoiding the sun because of skin cancer (as we're told to from a young age) is a major factor contributing to the vitamin D deficiency in most of the populace (the other big factor being the office lifestyle). Get too much sun, get melanoma. Get not enough sun, get vitamin D deficiency, leading to other things, including osteoporosis and depression. 15-20 minutes a day of direct sunlight is supposed to be approximately the right amount; about as much as you would get driving to and from work in a car. Alternatively, take supplements.

I find that I look like a 12 yr old right after I get a haircut, but a few days to a week later, it looks much better. Probably common knowledge but oh well :D

Never loan money to family or friends. It's either a gift, or a no. If you never speed, you won't get a ticket! No, I'm not being a smartass. At some point it will finally click in your brain, "Wait, why am I risking all of our safety and my wallet and my car just to shave off 2 insignificant minutes off my commute?" Also, don't drive like an asshole. If you're not financially punctual, some of your bills/payments have an auto-pay option online. This is much better than risking late fees or shut off of services (electric, phone, whatever). One way to shrink frivolous spending is to attempt to deceive yourself. Don't use your cards for any purchases (except necessary things like gas or bills as needed). Give yourself a reasonable cash "allowance." Say $50 bucks a week. Okay, I can eat out once, maybe a few drinks, quick snacks or lunch maybe twice, some smokes - - aww fuck I'm out already, got to wait till Sunday... You'll actually find yourself managing each week how to spend more efficiently with that little "allowance." Disclaimer: requires willpower.

Luckily for the rest of us, odds are they will get killed in a car accident sooner rather than later. There's a reason why SOME traffic lights switch to blinking yellows at night, and there is a reason why some other do NOT. Risking killing yourself and possibly other people to save what will be 15-20 seconds at the absolute most is a pretty terrible lottery to play. *Edit* True in America, Not sure about the rest of the world. I have been running red lights, specifically left on red in a 4 way intersection, for ~6years now. So far i have no accidents and no tickets. At empty intersections there is ZERO threat of an accident. At full/semi-full intersections there are times when it is safe assuming you are the only person running the light. The times when it is safe to make a left on red have to do with the position of the green lights and current traffic flows, which with a quick graph theory model will reveal all of the safe times to make a left of red (again assuming your the only one running the light). For example, when your left turn light is red and your straight light is green it is safe to run the red light as long as traffic in the opposite direction allows for. This is because a straight green light disables all other traffic paths except the opposite direction's straight green light (and trivial right turns). Anyways it can be done, and be done safely, with proper knowledge and judgement. Now lifetip: if you ever use an aluminum can to hold anything (cig butts, chaw spit, trash, ect), you can break the top open to increase the opening. Apply pressure to the original opening with your elbow to the point where it rips the aluminum at the the top *CAUTION* this could crush the can if you do it wrong, in which case you need the reflexes of someone alive to not hurt yourself (its not that hard). With the aluminum at the top ripped, cover your thumb with your shirt and fold it down, while following the edge of the can. If you chew tobacco this is a huge tip, if not it then its probably not worth cutting yourself on the aluminum. This is really bad advice. Picture related: + Show Spoiler + just noticed this, but since when do cops drive Mustangs? Does it change based on state? Cuz all the ones here drive Chargers lol.
