I remember making a huge thread just like this a while back and talking about some of these movies I just thought were verrrrry overrated. American Beauty (didnt like) Requiem for a dream And what's with SWAT being on peoples list. This movie had the most far fetched plot ive seen in a while. Some guy who is rich tells people watching the news broadcats he'll give them all kinds of money if they break him out. Then u've got gangs and people risking their lives going to war with the police all based on some guy who they have no idea what his credibility is about. I thought this movie was alright for entertainment purposes but definitely shuldnt be on a top movies list. | ||

Cidade de Deus (brazilian moovie, just beautiful) American Beauty (i didn't put this on the top 10 but now i remember is one of the best films i've ever seen) Elephant (just awsome) and i will say it again because just few people saw it: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind =) that film is by far the best film of 2004 =) | ||

In no order: Dr Strangelove Pulp Fiction Forrest Gump Delicatessen (spelling?) Brazil LOTR: FOTR/ROTK Star Wars: the Empire strikes back Midnight Run (an unheralded classic comedy) Blade Runner Final Fantasy: the spirits within (I know it's crap, but still really enjoyed it) If I could have an 11th, it would be Airplane.
