I think those made for some of the strongest narratives, like Foreman deciding to strap the kid down to suck out his bone marrow so that his brother's life could be saved, and those conflicts have mostly been missing in recent seasons - so assuming that's what's really going on I only think it could be a good thing. Plus there were episodes like the one with the brave little cancer girl who challenged House's beliefs which were awesome too, Masters will probably serve as a similar sort of foil. They'll likely drag the Cuddy break-up on for at least five or six episodes, but that whole thing's seemed pretty contrived from the start. I'd have to watch the episode again, but I never really bought Cuddy falling for House during last season's finale, during the building collapse episode. | ||
