I love him: "Taking House down an ultimately happy road just seems unrealistic." Couldn't agree more.
Not that I necessarily agree that a "happy" life for House require Cuddy. He could meet someone else but just not Cuddy.

+ Show Spoiler +Woot house iback on drugs :D :D :D finally he can go back to being a complete and total prick again!!!!!!
Hehe awesome, very happy with the ending of the last episode.....

the whole episode was epic. all the weird dreams and his cane ax and cane + shotgun. so epic. plus, cuddy and house can quarrel again and i liked the sexual tension they had before they started dating.

Build him up, and make him fall hard. Brilliant.
And the new girl is hot.
the new girl? are you talking about masters? -____-;
ew. masters is the most annoying character that's ever been on house. other than the big fat black guy in the first season (i think?). she's not hot. she's "okay." now olivia wilde, holy shit. she is smoking. and omg, cameron was so freaking pretty. so hawt.

Posting this in case no one has heard of this yet, its pretty interesting if you were/are a fan of it and never noticed it:

Oh comeon. You at least spotted the House/Holmes thing? ;p

The show jumped the shark, this is an attempt to unjump it. Guess what, you can't unjump by jumping over the opposite direction. That's just jumping twice.
Ill still watch it cause I'm stupid and I want to finish it for sake of closure. But meh.

Been a terrible season, the series has turned into a joke. Hopefully it'll be somewhat less sucky in S8. It's still worth watching for production value and Hugh Laurie, fake hair or not.
I just wish they make Charlie Sheen Cuddy's new boyfriend.

I really enjoyed this last episode. It was really weird and shit like they used to have. The creepy musical portion was epic. Cant wait to see how it plays out.
|
i like what they did with the recent episode(dream scenes). also really liked the blatant hyundai endorsement, episode 2 weeks ago.

I really love how this was foreshadowed by House licking the Vicodin to see if it was real in the last episode
However, I felt like the entire House+Cuddy relationship was done sort of weirdly, and ended a bit too fast. I guess they wanted to wrap it up in one season, but... there were too many close calls, so many "Oh I want to break up okay I won't" that the actual break up felt too similar to one of the earlier close calls. There was never a run of time where it felt like a stable relationship. There should have at least been a honeymoon phase.
I also wonder where they are headed to next. My favorite season is still by far season 4, because the game of firing recruits was just so fun, and the dynamic of the new characters (Cutner, Taub, and 13 all for the first time) was so interesting.
This season Taub + Foreman is cute, but also getting old. Chase isn't doing anything interesting (I think it'd be good to use the murder plotline further, I'm not sure how, but it should be a big part of his character now, there should be residual emotions... maybe Masters will find out and she'll want to tell somebody).
It'll be interesting to see the interaction between Masters and 13, I think
Also, on another note: remember the episode where House trapped Masters like a mouse, so that she would lose her medical license if she didn't do what he said? And then she just goes and rebels against him anyway? I felt kinda of mixed when that happened, I was kinda like "Wtf House had her trapped this is just lame" but then House decides to keep her on because of the Cuddy thing... but if something similar happens again, Vicodin House will kick her out for sure

The main thing is that House always goes back to square one... there is no growth in the character; he's basically the same guy as when the show started. Maybe the House & Cuddy thing would not have been great, but at least there was growth in the character. So far, in all the seasons, he grows emotionally and learns something, and then something kicks him down, and this cycle repeats. I wish they just let him grow as a person, and see where it goes.
|
he will never grow enough to care about others but himself. on a side note, did you guys know hugh laurie gets paid 500k an episode. geez, the amount of money actors/actresses make these days is incredibly ludicrous.

Yeah, I like happy House. Not hopped-up-on-Vicodin happy but naturally happy. It was kinda cool (and I'm already using the past tense because we haven't seen as much of it lately with all the Cuddy drama)

Alright, alright, compared to cameron and oliva wilde she's not hot. Meh. Cute enough.

I've always liked Masters, shes giving the show another flavor (even though its a lot like the previous ones its still new). And I thoroughly enjoyed the ending.
+ Show Spoiler +When he looked at the students I thought he was going to fight one of them or start something and I was like /facepalm. Then on the balcony I was like "no way in the world he'll jump, I'm sure he'll get really close the the ledge, but he won't jump, maybe he'll even stand on in, but he won't jump, won't happen" and he was like "Challenge Accepted".
