There's no real solution in the settings for it, I'm afraid. Just minimize windows instead of tabbing to the desktop, I guess Quick googling didn't work either.

the the icons that you see a lot here are called rocketdock with lucid icons.

You get Rocketdock, and then you "dock" your icons onto the dock.

After that, go look up "Lucid Icons" on Deviantart, and it'll provide you with the pictures. There won't be pictures for everything, but it'll be close to most things we have these days.
