It started back in the days of a online, text-based roleplaying game known as CyberSlam. No, it wasn't anything sexual. It was a professional wrestling-based game where storylines were written out in HTML forum posts and an online simulator would compare your stats/movelists against your opponent's stats/movelists and see who won. The wrestler I created was named Scott Awesome (I was 12 at the time. Made it illegal for me to play since you needed to be 13, but I didn't care. Plus I had crazy good basic HTML skills as well and a mature vocabulary, so no one could tell the difference.) Because those were too many characters for a wrestler's name, I shortened it to Sawesome. Later in my CSlam career, I needed to find a new name for a finishing move. In the video game WWF, No Mercy for the N64 (still the greatest wrestling game ever created for a console by the way) there was a finishing move known as a screwdriver: vertical suplex into inverted piledriver. It looked pretty vicious in the game, so why not use it for CSlam? But Screwdriver by itself wasn't an awesome name for a finishing move. It needed flair. Thus it became known as the Sawedust Screwdriver, with Sawedust being a play on "sawdust" and "Sawesome." From there, I transitioned out the name Sawesome as no one could figure out what it really meant and changed everything to Sawedust instead. A stylistic decision later turned it into sawedust. That was back in 1999. And it still sticks to today, and probably for the rest of my life.

It's a purpose. The swarm shall evolve. We are the greatest animals of all creation, and we will not stand for this... this mockery! It's a prophecy. You may think us nothing but beasts, but our unity is unquestionable! We all share the same burning heart- the heart of the swarm! (And honestly, with the ridiculousness of some of the campaign upgrades and the fact that zerglings sprout actual wings after the speed upgrade, is it really hard to imagine a flying zergling upgrade if for nothing else but the campaign?)

I was playing alot of CS at the time, and the pump-shotty was way underused at the time, and I had figured out this maneuver where I could just launch myself around corners while jumping and crouching, un-crouching in midair and shooting simultaneously. I called it the pump and hump. 9/10 of these ended up being headshots, and people would nerd rage and accuse me of hacking. So I just slammed the two together and ran with it: HackBenjamin

Nice to meet you all =D My ID is DNA Polymerase because I used to be a major BIO/CHEM nerd. I loved that stuff so much that I would make up jokes in and out of class. DNA Polymerase was my favorite of all enzymes cause I always associated it as a hero in their role of DNA replication... Isn't that stuff used to unzip jeans? History of Owompa; my brother and his friend came up with the name one day and refuse to tell me what it is or means. So I used it as my SC:BW name so that they could not. Been using it for everything since. Other iterations include DryOwompa and LiquidOwompa (no relation to TL).

I played the game as a kid when I was about 12, and watched the Liminality series that came with the PS2 games. There was a character named Sieg who fell into a coma after being defeated in the game. I liked the sound of the name Sieg so much, without a clue of knowing what it meant, I used it as an ID since.
