I was six about ten years ago trying this game called Runescape. I figured my name is Phil, and don't know how I came up with maniz. All I know is I love this name.

When I was a kid, me, my brother and our cousins used to play Risk a lot.

My brother would always call his land DoomsVille and warned people not to enter.

A little while later, WC3 was released. Me and my brother started playing a MOD called "3corridors" which is like a precursor to DotA. We used a client called Kali (similar to Garena). Since we only had 1 computer, we just had the single account. Unfortunately, my brother sucked at the game. So whenever I'd get on, people would always ask whether it was the good or bad DoomsVille lol. Eventually I got annoyed at my brother destroying my rep that I just stopped letting him use the DoomsVille name.

Since then I've basically used it for everything. Don't really care about the name too much, but I figure I might as well be consistent from now on.

It's from WC3 (I know I know haha). All the heroes in WC3 had names, a different name each game. Well one of the names for the Far Seer was Kazragore, so I jacked his name hahahah. I have no creativity.

Mine came back from NeverWinter Nights on AOL (1992 )
I was playing the game and was recruited to the Mech guild.
The GM that time said You will be MECH Havoc! and that was that! haha

20years later I still have it.

Prior to that I always named my characters Deth which came from not spelling death correctly as a 7 year old !

Hehe. Well when I was younger I tried registering for some weird Lord of the Rings MUD game, and I picked the most cliche name possible, Onering, and for some reason it shortened it to "Oneri". I simply added on the Le at some point, for reasons I can't remember, and the name has stuck.

I can honestly say that I'm someone who's probably had the most aka's in starcraft. I've had a disgusting amount of akas cuz I could never decide on a name and was always picking something more new and cool.
I finally recently decided on SluGGer and seems like this is my final aka. It relates to the fact that I box and I have a aggressive hard hitting style. Alas some noob already has the nick Boxer -_-;;

In Sweden they have this show on christmast showing some cartoons every year, and i really liked the story about Ferdinand The Bull as a child and just started using Ferdinand as a nick when i got older.

Typhus is a special character for the Chaos Space marines in Warhammer 40k. Hes the Herald of Nurgle, and i always thought nurgle was the most awesome of the chaos gods. He's the god of decay so all his followers are hideously malformed from sicknesses that make them stronger.

i am a 50% south korean flavoured german. One day at school(i was in the age of around 14) a guy i didnt know tried to make fun out of me by saying "you look like ho-chi-minh". My friends obviously thought it was very funny at that time, starting to call me "ho-chi" all the time since then. But they were to dumb to use the right intonation, so it sounded more like "hu-chi" than "ho-chi". Some people i got to know after this even thought that "hu-chi" would be my real name - because i somewhat look asian and therefore it totally makes sense... the first game i was playing multiplayer quite a lot was Duke Nukem3D and i started using "hutchi" as my nickname. But i felt like the nick looked stupid, and for non-german native speakers it was difficult to intonate it the right way. So when i started playing Battlefield1942 DC/Eod-Mod at an european multi-nationality-clan i chose to make it more easy for them. Et voila: hutchi -> hoochi -> hoOChi!(!!)

When I was a kid, about 7 or so, I played a video game on the NES called Operation Wolf. I used to love playing this game so much. For some reason it stuck with me for years and seemed the obvious choice when selecting an ID. The rest as they say is history...

Rachet and Clank was one the best games I remember playing in my early childhood. In that game the currency used were bolts and I had a lot of them. I wanted to name myself Bolt but found it lacking "edge," so I decided to name myself Kolt.

Random name generator from World of Warcraft back in 2004. I forgot what originally the name was, but earlier I saw one that ended in -ket so I mentally noted that, then stumbled upon one that started with Zea-. Bam, Zeaket was born. Unoriginally it's my go-to name for basically all online games.

Well I went with this name when I became more mature and mannered. And it comes from the swedish word Grattis that means congratulations, but I liked the sound of Gratteez more so I added an e, so it became Gratties. when I was about 9 I came with the name jonas_the_1 of my first name becouse I thought I was really good at computer games xD later on I went with the cocky Ynot(Why Not). Thats the story of my Nicknames.

madmongoose- Long time ago, I had a friend who was in a phase of calling everybody a mongoose. One time he approached a group of our friends and said: HELLO U MONGOOOSESES. Promptly, they jumped him (in all good fun) and it became a human pyramid. I was watching the entire shenanigans. At the end, they had to pry away one of the guys who was crying because he was at the bottom of the whole thing. Thus, madmongoose.

My very first ID was Linuxx. Didn't have anything to do with the OS, I just thought it'd totally sound like some weird mixture of a wolve and a fox. Well, I was 11. I even created the eMail ''linuxx2004@lycos.de'' in 2003 so I could still use it in 2004. Well, turns out, that's still my MSN eMail, hahaha.

My 2nd Nickname was Lanago and it was the name of my very first WoW character, an undead mage, when those were actually rare (mages, that is.).

Eventually, I turned away from WoW and started playing DotA. Shiv became my nickname. Not only was it one of my favourite skills to use in WoW, I also liked the idea of how you actually use a shiv to cause harm. You wouldn't stand up right in their faces but more likely would use... Well, WhiteRa would call them special tactics.

I sticked with that.
