Got my name from my uncle who used to be 12gage (our last name is Gage and his first gun he fired was a 12gauge).So this one day i was visiting my uncle in the States and we went out hunting cans. (pretty dangerous stuff guys!) So we did this with a the same gun he used for the first time and so did I and then he told me that now i shall carry the name 12gage.

I am an avid skateboarder and have always been a huge fan of this Toy Machine video called "Sucking the Life". They visit Rochester, NY, but they wrote "Rawchester". I always thought that was so dope and I was sort of looking for a new nickname for the internet, hence Rawbertson was born. I made a committment to myself to stay extra raw ever since.

mine is from latin verb amare = (to) love.
so an amateur is someone who loves what he does, in its originally meaning. that's basicly my "gamingphilosphy" and since there already was an amateur in the european battle.net i took amatoer (amatör, but ö wasnt allowed) which sounds the same if you have a german tongue

I got really into SSBM for a while, and there was a Japanese pro by the handle of Nas that played Falco (my main as well), so I just stole his name and replaced the a with o instead. I am terribly original.

I spent a long time thinking up names when Xbox Live originally came out and I had just started playing Halo 2 a lot so I wanted to have it relate in some way to playing Halo. I was a big Battlefield 1942 player when that game came out and used to have my ID as DrKhrushchev after the Russian Leader Nikita Khrushchev. I didn't want to have that same name so I decided on keeping the Dr tag, but changing the primary part of the name. Whenever I played Halo I used to do a lot of nonsensical just hopping around. Thus the name DrHopsALot was born. It has stuck ever since I think it's been something like 9 years now.

I was playing a game called Chaos Legion, and the name of the ultimate "legion" (main source of damage in the game) was called Thanatos. I thought the name sounded cool, so I decided I'd use it as a character name on some random ftp mmo. Since then, it's pretty much stuck. The 1001 is there because it almost guarantees that the name is free.

Mine is actually really bad, see i was searching for gods of different religions, and i came across one named Yanulo.... Well being the dumb ass i am i mss spelled it and got Yamulo.... I was so angry, but oh well i guess it has a nice ring to it. And if i remember correctly it is a Chinese god, but i forget which one T_T.

I was trying to think up a name for my Warlock in WoW, my brother comes in and said that kumquats taste good. I thought it would a good name for my character but it was already taken, so I switched the K with a Q =/ pretty lame

RE4 is one of my favourite games of all time. I always thought the people were spouting gibberish when they attacked you, but one day when I was looking up a RE4 guide, I saw "RE4 Translations". I clicked it, and discovered that the enemies were in fact speaking Spanish. Most of the things said are just insults, my favourite one being "cara de ajo". Literally face of garlic, or more commonly garlic face.

What can I say? It sounded pretty damn funny. Been using "garlicface" ever since.
