sended 1 in team 1 and the 3 others were in team 2. The player in team 1 was calling our spot in german and was feeding players from team 2 ... Also buying item and droping them to the other team ... This is 1 cheap way to raise someone psr ... he they do this on every game ... 1 dummy account that sacrifice 20 death per game | ||

I told him, that if anything Blizzard would be paid since they own all rights to maps within their games, But most likely they recruited him for help in balance and design which is not the same as paying someone for taking their original idea. (because iirc blizzard hired on icefrog for map creation and dota remakes in sc2). Further trying to argue my point he basically said I was crazy for thinking that he could make a map called his name and then blizzard would own it. As I understand it, they kept a lot of the same shit but changed all the names so they avoid all copyright infringement. So if I made a game that was totally different and called it dota that would be an infringement and likewise, if I made a game that played the same/similar with a different name I don't infringe anything (from a law perspective anyways). PS- Afaik, icefrog wasn't paid anything for original dota (maybe just donations and ads on his site or whatever). And blizzard hired him freelance for sc2. So it's not like he has made any money directly from dota anyways, so why would they (HoN) need to pay him off? | ||

You are about to play a stand alone DotA based game. We have asked IceFrog if he had any objections to this and he did not, he is ok with it. Heroes of Newerth contains both content very similiar to DOTA and brand new content of S2 Games' creation. We wanted to take a moment to share with you why it is very important you do not share this information with anyone, and to give some insight as to why we chose to create Heroes of Newerth: 1. At S2, we're huge fans of DOTA, and were pained to see how it was being held back on the warcraft 3 engine. DOTA style gameplay deserves a stand alone game so competition can be taken to the next level. As a MOD, DOTA faces many obstacles and boundaries that a stand alone title like Heroes of Newerth does not. 2. We also felt that the experience of playing and finding DOTA games online could use some drastic improvement. With HoN, there are many features and tools to make playing online (both with friends and by yourself) a much easier and more enjoyable experience. Your position as testers will help us perfect and fine tune these features, as well as allow us to see how they perform under various conditions. Our first portion of testing is to see the installer in action on multiple system configurations and to test our Master Server & Chat Server with multiple game loads. Please keep your feedback accurate and concise. We hope you enjoy the beta and help us make HoN as awesome as it deserves to be!  Please direct any questions you may have to the beta forum. I'm DrOoo on HoN and I am always on the TLn Channel so if anyone could pm me or say something in the chat when you guys are about to start some organized games that would be awsomesauce. My PSR is trash and not like kidding trash either, it's under 1100 so go figure. But I am nowhere near as bad as my PSR makes it look (but I'm nowhere near pro either) I'm sure that if we use voicecomm I will do fine. I love playing support classes, Jereziah is my fav so far. P.S. Does anyone know how to fix the issue with Vista 64 and the mic sound being extremely low even at full volume? It works fine without sound drivers but after installing the audio drivers the mic is pretty much useless. | ||
