But in COD4 it's just stupid how easy it is to kill anyone (not talking number of hits). And the competitive scene is an embarrassment. That's why I played CS for 6 years, and COD4 for 2 months. Once you get past all the petty rewards, you realize the actual shooting has no depth what so ever. And then a $10 charge for a couple maps? LOL. Damn Activision is making bank. | ||

Yes your logic is sound, but it's obvious in playing the game that the developers cater to gamers of lesser skill. Take for example the new addition of the Death Streak. Specifically Pain Killer: "Hey guys, we know you're mostly all terrible at the game, so here's a bonus for you: When you're getting your ass handed to you by gamers that actually know what they're doing, we're going to give you an extra boost of health that should give you the edge over those pesky 'pro gamers' that are pwning up your casual experience." Seriously, when I shoot someone and that little pill icon pops up that lets me know that my bullets just got nullified by the opponent's boost in health, I can't help but feel like I'm being punished for being good at the game. It's not MY fault you suck at first person shooters. Oh, and YOU'RE dumb. lol. Can we argue about a game without having our intelligence insulted? | ||

AC130's/Imba1887's/m16's are all rather on the ridiculous side. AC130's shit flares like candy so you can barely shoot one down unless your ENTIRE TEAM is coldblood anti air. 1887's..nothing needs to be said. Called nub tubes for a reason. M16's you actually have to aim but they only take two shots to kill anyone. Pub wise the game is easily geared toward a casual gamer. The way the point system works attests to this. I have since moved on to Hardcore where you actually run into people that don't just spray the shit out of anything and I'm actually performing BETTER now that I have a good idea just what the hell the opponents are doing and why. Pubs are hard because nothing pubs do makes sense. | ||

in terms of power I mean copycat is a huge joke (except maybe when you're leveling up, but then again you shouldn't have a 1:4-1:5 KD ratio either) painkiller is ridiculously situational because anyways if you're getting spawncamped 300% hp for 10 seconds isn't going to give you enough time to get out of fire martyrdom is...well if you enjoy being a suicide bomber sure go ahead and run in the enemy lines. it's nowhere as imba as CoD4 though and final stand is rofl. | ||

Pubs are hard because nothing pubs do makes sense. i find spraying and flying through the air John Woo style works even better in hardcore since everything is a 1-shot kill. i don't get the point of hardcore, some guy at IW probably said "hey lets give everyone 30 health, remove the HUD, and call it 'realistic' so people will play it." still, MW2 is a fun pub game/timesink despite all the gayness that goes on. | ||
