I have this alt sitting in emol, doing nothing but training. Eventually I took a detour from training the skills for macha in alphabetical order to do some highsec griefing. I had nothing but drone skills trained, so I trained for a vexor, got some probing skills and went hunting. The first vargur I probed down (for various reasons, including their ease to probe with bad skills, being turret based without a 90% web, active tanked and not drone or missile back; i chose to attack only vargurs and other minmatar bs), didnt work out so well. I got aggro, but was very far away, so I warped out and back, and in that time he moved 20km off the warpin. http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12267897 I decided I needed to be dual propped, so I trained up for an arbitrator. + Show Spoiler + [Arbitrator, New Setup 1] Damage Control I 800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I Experimental 10MN Afterburner Experimental 10MN MicroWarpdrive Warp Disruptor I Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 800 Small Energy Neutralizer I Small Energy Neutralizer I Small Energy Neutralizer I Medium Energy Neutralizer I Medium Ancillary Current Router I Medium Egress Port Maximizer I Medium Egress Port Maximizer I This setup needed special implants just to be cap stable with ab (remember, shit skills). I made use of a zor's nav link (not hyperlink) even. I probed down some more stuff, and didnt get aggro on any of it. Eventually I probed down a vargur that was acting oddly. First, it was shield boosting while the room was clear, but hey, maybe he was just cap stable (ie, bad). I tried to convo him, and he didnt respond. He didnt reject the convo, just ignored it completely, which is also very unusual. Finally, I stole his mission loot, and I realized he was a bot. I realized this because he kept going back to the same mission, going through all the rooms, slowboating to the mission can and trying to loot it, then going back to station. He did this for several hours. I wardeced him on an alt, then warped to his mission, logged out, swapped corps, logged in and killed him (with much thanks to my RR, who also cap transferred me, and showed up before I even asked). http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12390354 Surely, he wouldnt be so stupid as to run such a bad bot again, would he? Over the next few days, I had people run locates on him. For a while he was in a wormhole, and then he showed up in jita. Was he buying another vargur? I checked his contract history, but clearly he was being traded equipment in private. Finally, a locator found him in metropolis, near hek. I flew over, found him in a mission, and despite some problems (his first mission took 5 minutes, my RR pilot had to leave for work), I did the same thing and killed him again. http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12407322 Will he do it a third time? I sure hope so. Additionally, I believe I have discovered his main, who I immediately wrote a petition against. (I of course reported the bots as well)

If he bots for 20 hours a day (which is actually the reasonable average time for a bot to be on) hes going to make 600mil. Thats more than a plex at current prices. His Vargur fit costs 2.4bil, or 2400mil. This is roughly 4 days of botting. So if we assume the wardec continues and the Vargur continues to die, how many times will the Vargur die before it runs out of isk (or the contract market runs out of faction shield boosters)? I'm not completely sure, but considering we have no idea how long the bot has been active for prior to this war dec (as well as the fact that ccp never go after bots unless they absolutely have no other choice) I would be inclined to say a decently high number. So right now my guess is 17. If I am wrong and the vargur dies 18 times or more to this wardec, not only does it show the idiocy of the botter, but also the negligence of ccp for refusing to do anthing about it. To this end I am also going to war dec the botter and hopefully get some good drops. We can have a nice friendly competition about it.

Each client has an own folder. If you dont delete that you should be fine. Its also wise to keep a backup of that i guess.

Some guy cynoed an Archon onto "our" lowsec station with a Falcon. The natural response is of course to blap the Falcon, but the cyno was down before I got back. The Falcon pilot hung around in system though, so we looked him up and it turns out he fits 100k EHP Falcons just for cynoing on stations (lol). A while later someone spotted him lighting a second cyno so we hopped into some BS and started shooting it. The Chimera that had jumped in was of course repping it, but it was going down slowly. We had caught it at the end of the cyno cycle again, so the carrier- / cyno-pilot was presumably tabbed to his Falcon spamming dock, which meant he didn't notice a Machariel undocking. Before he could tab back to his carrier he was already out of dock range. Quite an unlikely series of events, hehe. You can never be too paranoid with your caps, there's no reason to not hug the station as much as you can and this guy was in a pretty exposed spot. http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12407534

People are careless when dualboxing and it only takes one good bump on some stations. People don't really think too much about station model but they really should.
