don't run assaults! run otas (shield) or ncos (armor) in a good fleet and you should more than double that. don't know how that compares to lowsec (still lower i'm sure) but it's a big improvement over what you're doing
Yeah, Vanguards are the best isk, only way to make decent isk on the other ones is if you have an actual corp fleet all hashed out beforehand and everyone knows what they are doing.
But you'd make the same or more in vanguards for "target, f1"
Lately I've been playing the role of 'Hisec Warlord' ninja salvaging level 4 missions in hisec and killing people who shoot at me. Earlier today I decided to buy a Sliepnir for this task. I decided to put an Officer large shield booster on it (which has the same stats as a deadspac booster but is about 20 mil cheaper). After it was finally put together I flew it out to a new location and decided to test it out.
I was not subtle about it at all. Instead of warping in a bait frigate then swapping to my gank ship, I just warped the Sliepnir directly into the mission of the first guy I probed down and looted a wreck. The myrmidon who saw me decided it would be a great idea to take a potshot at me since I turned red to him. I had to stop firing my guns early as they completely wrecked the poor battlecruiser, who swiftly paid a 40 mil ransom. Then I killed him, told him that nowhere is safe from pvp, and when he complained that he had no money left to buy another ship I told him to go out into lowsec and learn the game in a frigate.
I even told him to go speak to Wensley about frigate pvp and how to learn the game. As a side note: Wensley if your reading this and someone convos you asking how to pvp......this is why.
Later I warped my Sliepnir into the mission of a dominix. He promptly insulted me in local, finished killing the rats in the pocket, and then he shot me. I proceeded to tank t2 ogres like they werent even there. The dominix dropped like a rock, he was in less than half armor by the time his repair mod finished cycling. I forced him into low hull seconds later and he paid 100 mil as a ransom. Then I killed him, because thats kind of what I do.

You were misinformed. Hatchery pub is full of trolls (most of them in the hatchery) but keep at it.
