A great roam tonight, got some nice skills with spawning pool first and then joined up with KwarK. I managed to get point on a loki about 20k off a gate, held it for quite a while, orbiting at like 5k with heated mwd it barely hit me. Unforunately a ship with big lazors jumped in and shot me down.
Hatch found another huge fight, so I reshiped and joined up again. Felt pretty insignificant in my rifter, had to get out after like 20 seconds, and escaped with 25% hull. So I waited around for my shields to regen and got in again on full shields. Got point on an Onyx and tried to get out after like 10 seconds because I was getting redboxed. Went down to an autocane though
Thanks for bringing me along kwark! o7 :D gf!

Battle report for the fight. It's displaying badly but all the FCON, FA, 99% and Black Mark weren't with us. We attacked a fleet with 2 scimmies, 2 vagas, muninn, onyx, falcon, loki, about 10 bcs, about 10 cruisers, a bunch of t1 and t2 frigs with 6 drakes, 2 tengus, a zealot and two rifters. No losses but the rifters. Hatchery life.

One of the rifters lived?
|
Both (all) the rifters died.
Was a great day for sp roams. Started off on a roam to c- or some system like that and got two jumps out with 9 rifters and 2 drakes when we ran into a domi, cynabal, and a hurricane on the EC- gate. We go and start a fight when they add in a thrasher and random appearances by bomb chucking stealth bombers that wouldn't stay on the field. We zerg the hell out of a huricane and take that down along with a thrasher. We get our buts kicked hard after that till they have a saber warp to a bad spot and lands on top of our rifters. We nab him and they cynabal warps in to help and also promptly dies. Props to mandini with his arty cane that alphaed the thrasher. Fight took long enough that some of us that died in the first pass made it back to nonni to reship and got back in the fight. Final score 4 to 14 with 98% isk efficiency. http://spawningpool.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=11718778
We then head back to sara to repair since our drakes got themselves burned out and to let the last few rifters to finish reshipping. We head back out trying to make it to c- but again get distracted by another fleet camping of 2 canes, harb, thrasher, and five sb's. We pull a WHATTHEHELL and chriss gets a nice probe on the cane thrasher pair safed up, and we warp in to cause havoc. Moment we land the thrasher warps off leaving his cane buddy to get wasted. As we're finishing off the cane the other cane and harb warps in along with the SB's and some backup in the form of a rapier, drake, scorpion, and falcon. We kill the harb and have the drake in hull when the last of the rifters gets poped so the drakes bug out. http://spawningpool.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=11719077
We repair and reship and go to take them on again when hatch gets going and says they are taking our targets. SP decides that we found it first its ours so we doubletime our reship and get out to EC right as hatch is warping in scaring our prey. Hatch decides they don't enjoy our company and we head back to sara to call it a day. Once we get to sara kwark jumps on and says get ourselves back to EC he found a fleet and needs tackle. We turn around and merge fleets. We chase the enemy fleet pretty well but don't get lucky and hit a bubble that they went around so we lose them. I then piss off kwark and he says all the rifters to find something else to do so we wander out. We land in high sec and moan about hatch taking our prey when kwark gets on and asks for rifters. A pair of us are still on and fly out to join the hatch fleet. Kwark leads us on a merry happy fun time and gets lots of kills (see above). My fellow rifter pilot and I stay alive getting tackles as we can. We start doing warp games from EC- gate to EWOK gate and they eventually get a cane left behind. As the cane dies the rest of the enemy fleet warps in and bubbles themselves and they die. Rifters get in to stop them from warping away and we finally fall. Fun times.

Sigh, even when I do something related to money that is designed to not compete with kwark, I end up competing with kwark. Fortunately we are both intelligent people aware of what the other is capable of, and these issues can be resolved with only a bit of whining on both sides.
Also fb check logbook.

The compromise allows me to obtain close to the high sell value I know they're worth while compensating you for your loss of market share. I feel a sign of a fair deal is when both sides appear dissatisfied with the outcome.

Crucible patch notes Players should be aware that due to the [new] alignment of stargates that instawarp locations, or locations created close to an object at a stargate may now cause bumping into that object.
lol
there is actually quite alot of funny/possibly quite good stuff in there

It's up again, fyi. What is with this font. D:
|
This font is awful for my screen.. Anyway to change it back?

So Hail is now no longer terrible. Valenius and I quickly checked, and Hail is about 200 DPS increase over Fusion L, and 100 DPS increase over faction ammo. That is, in 800s. Sadly, Hail is still completely overpriced (1.2k a piece). Anyone else have any insights on how this will work out?

We have like...60k hail in corp hangar?
Dunno. We're fine for a while.

We need someone who can produce the new skirmish links :S

Does someone have a link to the new EFT / PYFA ? I am still looking to try and get a guage on how 'good' hybrids will be after the patch.

The Shield Report: Engagement of FA vs Hatchery Stardate: Yesterday (Nov 28, 2011)
Stagnancy + Show Spoiler +It was a quiet week, with much dicking around on the Torrinos Gate in EC- (that infamous of gates) with no semblance of organization; recent roams ended in tepid moods. Our training corporation, Spawning Pool, were busy creating their own stories, and clouds of Minmatar frigate wrecks, killing few enemies, and due to the financial nature of the Rifter, gaining a very nice kill to loss ratio for ISK.
Some would have us combine our killboard with Spawning Pool, Podla, and our several holding corps, but nuts to them. Earlier we attempted to go after some ships in the area, but due to, frankly, retarded probing, we missed our chances. Not a few days ago we engaged a Quiet Storm Armor Battleship Gang, which proved a tough nut to break, and could only kill their Rapier at the loss of one of our Hurricanes. Tonight we found a shield fleet of theirs, and spent an hour trying to pin them down, they eventually scattered into the winds, without us clamping down on their jugulars, but certainly not without tasting a little of their blood. They escaped into the wilds of X-7O and high sec. This night was turning out to be like the others we’ve experienced. We began to return along our well traveled path back to our homes, stopping in O-N and L-T to grab an occasional kill with our small gang of 2 Tengu’s 5 Drakes, one Zealot (myself), several rifters, and our Links A Change of Pace + Show Spoiler +Suddenly, local spikes hard by 20, fcon ships begin decloaking on our outgate, emergency get the fuck out orders are given and we do so, the amount of FA ships coming into system rises as local approaches 54, a rarity for these systems. Due to previous fights, several of us have heat damage on our mods, one burns out his Invulnerability Field, and another, most despairingly, his MicroWarpDrive. We bounce around the system to evade our pursuers and egress into X-7O to repair and refit. Back in fighting form we group up off the gate in X-7O, we still had eyes on our enemies. It was at this point that they thought that they were the hunters, and we the hunted; the deprave smiles of our battle insanity grew across our faces, we would kill this night. During our repair, one of our friends had encountered another gang coming into the area near our home, they were enemies of Goonswarm, but our friend was unable to convince them that he too held no love for the inane cunts. In short order he unleashed his Tengu, easily outmatching the inexperienced enemy, and in the system maneuvers to come, he kills several of them, including their Falcon. But us, we began to lead our opponent on, jumping into system and warping seemingly to one exit gate, but then appearing on another. Our Fleet Commander began to chuckle quietly on comms, still an unnerving thing for me, as we out macro our fleet against theirs. By this time our friend had caught up, and with his cloaky eyes added to our own, we had a solid location on our unsuspecting pursuers. Warp to 50 + Show Spoiler +We land in a favorable battle position, 50 kilometers from gate, their fleet milling around at zero. Their fleet reacts, their faster ships moving out in undisciplined fashion, as they reach into our sphere of influence they are cut down, the faster cruisers and battlecruisers are targeted by our Strategic Cruisers and Battlecruiser, with myself in my Heavy Assault Zealot lancing glorious light into their frigates at my optimal range. Their fleet begins to form back up from their previous strung out burn towards us, and we decide to reset positions by warping to the system star at range. We warp off, and in the warp stream, we have plenty of time to talk in local to our enemies and to the third fleet that had entered the system, with my statement of “ ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?” probably being the best (the corp as a whole needs to work on our quotes, I also posted this: ( May not be safe for work)) + Show Spoiler +In an unfortunate decision, their Falcon follows us to the sun, thinking we warped to 0, and lands 7km from the fleet. Space is cold and unforgiving, and so are we as we reduce the poorly tanked ship to burned wreckage. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=11719413They know our position, for the moment. The Dance of Death + Show Spoiler +We warp back, merely several hundred thousand kilometers from where we first engaged, and we achieve eyes. The gang that our friend had fought before had engaged the fleet we had just maneuvered from, as the former being a highsec Goonswarm hating corp, and the latter belonging to the Goonswarm Federation. Mars has smiled upon us. Our friend warps to the battle at range in his Tengu, but as we know, Mars is indiscriminate. The Heavy Interdictor of the Fcon fleet had extended his warp disruption field, and the Tengu is pulled in to the heat of the battle. The Tengu, as its namesake, is a demon bird of prey, and the harbinger of war. In the hands of an experienced pilot, it can engage large numbers of enemies, and emerge unscathed. It proves true here, our Tengu friend pulls clear onto the edge of the battle, and a warp to 30 order is given. “No wait” He cries, “not yet.” It is too late, we were aligned, nothing scares a nano-pilot more than entering warp to a battle in an incorrect position, other than perhaps a fleet of Alpha Ships. However a reassessment of his positioning yields our Tengu to revise his statement in true Hatchery form “ its fine, it’ll be fine.” We surprisingly land in perfect position, and our battlecruisers engage the primaries. Our Tengu friend is burning off to one side, with an Ares, a Gallente interceptor hugging his ship. This is what my Heavy Assault was made for, and I target the Ares and burn in along the axis of the enemy fleet. The Ares’ armor and shields are not well known as good protectors against EM damage, and my optimal range proves superior to the interceptor’s transversal and it explodes http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=11719362. I turn my attention back to the main battle, however failing to attain a warp disruption on any of their ships, due to the distance I had covered in order to allow our Tengu to return to the fight. It is them who leave the field this time, and we descend upon the stragglers. And so begins our dance, it is slow yet blindingly quick, simple yet so complex that it reduces normal men to madness, the potential for violence, total. The enemy fleet still wants to fight, if they can get the positioning they want, and had warped to a safe close to the nearby planet, we probe them, only for them to move back to the paired gates (two gates in the system that are really close to each other relatively). We warp to them at 50, they warp to the other gate, we align to the other gate, they warp to the same location as us, we warp to the other gate, warp back at 100km to retain the 50km distance, they warp to the other gate, we warp to 50. The dance goes on for several minutes. We get a good timing on their warp, and land in our favored position and burn in to try and catch something. My honor is restored, I overhead my point and get a cycle off on one of their Hurricanes, their only ship left on grid. Our FC gives a scram order for a rifter, and calls an align and burn order, everything falls into place. The enemy fleet warps to just where we were as the hurricane explodes, their Heavy Interdictor , in true hector pilot fashion, throws up his warp disruption bubble, preventing themselves from warping away. This had no effect on our ships, as we had just moved slightly off to the side, but we weren’t leaving. The final engagement had begun. ![[image loading]](http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv286/Body_Shield/1se6jdjpg-1.gif) The Field is Ours + Show Spoiler +What followed was reminiscent of our earlier contact, their fast ships burned in. Their Heavy Assault ship, the Vagabond, moved in to attack its cousin, me in my Zealot, in their haste to primary me, they made a common error, using their best ammo and missiles to attack a ship that had amazingly high shield resists to those t2 munitions. My shield is falling slowly as I was weapons free to pick off their remaining tackle frigates with the help of one of our Tengus who had the proper missiles loaded. With most of the foreseeable threats to our nano-gang destroyed or gone (one remaining was in structure being held up by their Scimitar’s shield reps), my shield finally dipped below the “Well I guess I should get out of here now” level. I warped off 10 AU to allow the slow amarr t2 shields to regenerate. On my return the enemy fleet was significantly smaller, and had made it to the nearby gate and was de-aggressing. I put some damage on for a short period until I was ordered to de-aggress as well, along with one of our Tengus. But this proved to be too late, I was first to de-aggress, however the remaining enemy fleet had warped off on the other side and gotten clear. “Loot the field” http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=11719369http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=1822 Fleet layout to show numbers TD:LR Finally we got a fight
