If you enjoy some form of PvP action whenever you wish (like WoW bg's) then it's not fun. If you enjoy the few seconds of quality strategic PvP that we get then yes, it's fun.

It's worth noting that while the pvp action usually comes in bursts that is beyond our control it is also a constant threat. It's not something that you queue up for ala WoW, it simply just is. Because of that the learning curve of the game is quite high, and many don't find failure and accountability fun. And you will fail, a lot.

Secondly, killing their cyno frigs won't stop them doing their job, it's a cost of the business and if I get the chance to kill one of their JFs I'm going for it. Thirdly, any sanctions they impose can be avoided simply by using an alt to create the courier contracts. Fourthly, if we did get one of their JFs the guy who created the courier would get his 1.5b collateral and we'd still get half a chance at the loot.

Yes, but killing their cynos that are delivering your stuff just delays your stuff. I would suggest telling people not to kill them in our own systems.

Obviously if we will the freighter the corp takes the drops. Then the corp sells said drops for isk. Kwark then "borrows" said isk from corp wallet to fund his raping of the tags forcing hatch members in using him for tag buying/lp selling and kwark makes additionally money, or at the very least funds his trading investments. Duh, kwark just has a better understanding of economics tham people give him credit for

The first day we moved out here, me and Emdar went on a 2-man frigate incursion into null with a kiting Wolf and a Slicer. Various Velators and T1 frigs taunted us madly with their plethora of safes off every gate in every direction and much trolling was done. When we got deeper into the initial corridor I landed on a gate at 0 with a Malediction. I burned off slightly, signaling that I wanted to fight. He took my "bait" and we started going at it. Suddenly he overheated and got right on top of me (eleventy billion m/s standard on Maledictions) and I was scrammed. I switched to Multifrequency while Emdar was in warp to the gate. Luckily we killed it quite fast ( http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10272069) because a giant anti-frig gang landed. On grid as we warped off: Vagabond Vagabond Claymore Ares Sabre gf The next system over wasn't that much different. The blobs were furiously in search of revenge. On d-scan: Vagabond x4 Scimitar x4 Tengu Rapier Later on, we found a system with lots of different attackable stuff spread out everywhere. We tried over and over to land on stuff, but it just never ended up happening. Little did we know we were getting massively trolled. Emdar finally lands on a gate with a target Hawk and another on d-scan. While I'm in warp to him, a large gang lands, consisting of Rupture, Hawk, Hawk, Rifter, Hound, Falcon (and another I don't remember). Unfortunately one of the Hawks got in web range of Emdar and he went down ( http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10272256). Doubly unfortunately, we couldn't finish off the Hawk we were primarying because of Falcon. In trying to get Emdar's pod back to lowsec, we encountered *bubbles* and a cloaky Drake which presented a problem. Emdar had to warp back to station so the Drake wouldn't (eventually) lock him and kill him... and landed on a bubble with a stealth bomber camping. Little did that stealth bomber know, he was getting trolled ( http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10272578). Pod best bait.

It is against this corp that The Hatchery attempted to fight, massively outnumbered, as usual. The preceding is not true but you can assume that it is for dramatic effect, if you wish. It started when we got wind of a massive contingent of faction battleships, three systems away. We decided to get a fleet up and go after them. Before we got around to doing that, though, someone mentioned an It was at this point that Kwark made the biggest mistake I've ever seen him make, and perhaps his biggest mistake in EVE, ever. He allowed me to PvP. The plan was simple in theory, as it always is with nanoing. Draw a fight, isolate bad pilots, stay far from their tacklers. In practice, though, for an inexperienced pilot, the complications of nanoing are too much to handle. For this reason, I won't be PvPing in anything larger than a rifter, at least for a while. At any rate: we enter the 0.0 system. Kwark gave up on his previous plan of starting a fight and bringing the rest of us in. Instead, we all warped in on grid some km away from the gatecampers, as a group. The enemy started by sending a Raptor up at us, in order to get warp-ins. Now, here is an important part of nano warfare. If you stay in one place for too long, the enemy can easily warp ships on you and kill you. This is a fundamental flaw in my knowledge of nano warfare that seems blindingly obvious now, but which was unknown to me at the time. An important application of this idea is the following: if the enemy is flying a ship next to where you are, you'd best have your MWD running so you can get away from the spot where he was. Since I wasn't intelligent to have this important idea firmly in mind, when Kwark told everyone to burn towards the Raptor, I did not turn on my MWD. I instead slowboated at about 200m/s, lackadaisically activating my launchers (clicking instead of hitting f2) and launching drones ("man i wish there were a hotkey for this"... turns out there is one, at least for attacking with drones, not for launching them). Soon enough, I was separated from the main group, and a mael warped into my general area and pointed me. Panicking, I finally gunned it, getting out of range of the mael, but failing to realize that warping out was almost certainly the best option: a dram and slicer were fast approaching. Warp, you fool! I did not, and was scrammed and gunned down. Nejota made effectively the same mistake I did, and was caught and gunned down as well. Aeth Gemulus attempted to flee back to Saranen, but was caught at the gate in Saranen and destroyed. Kwark warped around, attempting to escape the pursuing horde, but was eventually caught and killed. Only Litharis survived. I messed up big time, but I learned a great deal i the process. After a few months of flying a suicide rifter, we'll see whether I'm good enough to get into the ship I truly belong in.
