I'm usually here for the huge amount of streams and to read interesting articles, not to post, and so the thread about EvE has caught my eye. Having played EvE for a few months about 4-5 years ago, i was curious what a mainly sc2-oriented community would do in EvE. I was mostly impressed by the fact that "i can be useful in PvP after 16 hours", my colleagues at work back then told me how much fun PvP was and reading about PvP was so interesting and epic (it still is), but i've always been told you need at least twelvetyfive bazillion skillpoints here and there before even remotely thinking about PvPing, and you need at least another account to fund your PvP char, and so on, which made me give my account away to one of my ex-colleagues. So long story short: I like the idea of having a babysi... errr... mentor and being able to participate in PvP really fast (even if just as a suicide tackler), that's why i'm applying here. If you decide to let me join, i'd prefer a german-speaking mentor, but everyone with understandable english from the euro timezone will do | ||

Official corp language, like TL, is English anyway. | ||

Anyway, they were camping the gate with 3 drams huginn rifter stiletto phantasm broadsword drake and 2 additional scimmies on dscan but not on the gate. Now kwark got the loki through obviously, but to form up one of our drakes would have to pass that gatecamp and we still wouldnt have enough dps to kill anything with 2 scimmies. Fortunately nou had logged out in the same system as i was camped too aand could provide a taranis, so we decided to try and fight them anyway. Kwark warped to the gatecamp and waited for a few of them to agress, but only a dram and a rifter did so. On the other side nou and me prepared for the fight and warped to the gate at 50. Kwark then jumps in and its on. All of them follow except for the dram and rifter that were agressed and kwark tries to escap as fast as he can but gets scrammed by one of the other drams. However we had nou to counterscramweb the drams and kill them. At some point kwark had to run away from the broadsword but managed to get an ec drones cycle on it, so we killed the final dramiel. Unfortunately i was still scrammed by the rifter and by the time he was dead the huginn was close enough and had me webbed with the stiletto longpointing me and the rifter scramming me. Kwark and nou warped out leaving me to die, however i managed to kill the huginn and the rifter before dieing. If only i had had warriors or ec-300s myself, i could have either killed or jammed the dram in time to burn out of range for the other guys and do more damage througout the fight to the tacklerfrigs :/ Still went better than expected i guess. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=10314412 | ||
