I feel like the game doesn't get you hooked immediately. It's more of a open world thing were you have to find stuff you like to do like Golgotha said. That's basically what I am looking for b/c my time is somewhat limited. That's also the reason why I asked about that aspect beforehand. I don't want to join a game that requires too much fixed gametime to be of any value for the group. Also great to hear buying isk is legal. I'm not a CC player in general but I like to spend some bucks now and then instead of wasting too much RL time to collect ingame money. Off to space again then! | ||

Kris's missile skills sucked so I jettisoned all my cn scourge for him and then combat scanner probes hit dscan while I was being webbed by the site. I pulled drones and warped but the web pushed me into warp early and I just left them behind. They immediately got abandoned so I couldn't easily recover them so I went back to grab them. Unfortunately they were now getting killed and Kris had a phone call and disappeared. The tower immediately webbed me which made getting to them a bitch and they wouldn't return on their own. The site wasn't deadspace and a manticore warped to me at 0 while I unloaded my furies to try and reduce my sig. I desperately looked for my cn scourge to kill it but didn't have any and was forced to kill it with 3 warriors and furies while crying out for Kris on comms as I had no idea he was gone. If I'd killed the manticore a second faster I'd have gotten clear but I unfortunately was pointed by the pests that landed on me which is really annoying given Kris didn't even pick up the cn scourge I told him I jettisoned for him. A dozen tiny things could have saved me but instead everything went wrong. A flycatcher threw down a bubble to guarantee the kill which was pretty fucking retarded as the pests had neuted me so dry I couldn't even point shit, let alone mwd to escape. That played out badly for him when I dropped him with furies and 3 warriors because flycatchers suck, he wasn't pointed but he was somehow in some weird kind of bubble thing. Kris remained afk while we watched two pests, a nomen and a purifier steal our site despite the fact that with links, a nanodrake and the webs the site put on anything he could easily defend it. I was forced to watch while cloaked, tilted as fuck, knowing that I could defend it with a drake and that he had a drake and he wasn't doing it when I died to the stupidest shit and they were sitting there completely vulnerable because they were retarded. They completed it and got the best loot, a Core A-type Large Armour Rep. Bad times. Fortunately all the high value loot was in the loki and the manticore and flycatcher outweighed my drake by some margin but still, it was incredibly frustrating. For all the nice kills we got getting there I still hate to lose a ship to that shit. | ||

I don't know about the Nightmare anymore....it is quite expensive. And we need battlecruiser pilots and nano fleet support type ships. | ||
