Yeah I'm planning to use a mael first so I get the hang of it and earn enough to get into a mach. Also I've been asking about missioning and pve in general in GA lately, so far no one has told me not to mission for RF. Am I missing something here lol?

RF is shit. Seb is good. However conversion is the key thing, how much trouble are you willing to go to to convert your LP. It can be as low as .3k isk/lp for some things or as high as 20k isk/lp depending on how much time and liquidity it takes. What you need to do is go here and make a spreadsheet.

I am no longer always buying Seb LP no questions asked because of what happened in the general2 market over the last few days. There's some serious manipulation going on there and the market is unstable. Rather than try and ride the fluctuations I'm releasing my stockpile to take advantage of it, getting out of the gyro game and getting paid for it three times over. I'm still buying LP when I can but the TE conversion is a bitch, takes 1k tags for every 54k LP.

I prefer a boost amp and 2 specific hardeners, and 3 capacitor safeguards or cccs. You will hate your life in some missions using acs, but it will also be awful in some missions if you use artys.

Does anyone know how highsec pos standings mechanics work? Do I have to have above the minimum standing all the time, or only when I anchor it?

That's an awful guide compared to what I actually looked at for my information, and it doesn't even go into detail about sov. "You must have a certain minimum standing" doesn't even tell you that you need .5 for 5.0, 6 for 6.0 etc, let alone answering my question.
