So right now i'm thinking of progressing towards flying a Battleship full time... Progress from:
Merlin -> MOA -> ROKH
or would it just be better to go:
Rifter -> Stabber -> Hurricane (Battlecrusier... i know)
As well, thanks for the info about when I should drop down towards 0.0, was in SCBW and basically was told if you cant fly anything BC or above there's no point in coming down... guess I'll be training up for a bit before i drop down to 0.0 space.

rifter stabber cane. ROKHs suck imo.
You guys have been beating up DS lately o/\o
|
Please do NOT train a Rokh. Not now, not ever. If you play eve for a while, I promise you'll thank me.

Why they would tell you that is beyond me :S
I'd welcome an Interceptor pilot in my fleet any day.
Rifter -> Stabber (Except I'd go Rupture here) -> Hurricane is the better option of the two, atleast if you are planning to PvP.
Also, the Rokh has it's uses... I like the Disco Rokh more than the Disco Phoon. If you are doing docking warfare it's also very good when fitted with blasters, although this shouldn't be an argument since docking games suck ass

That "advice" is something I hear quite a lot. I think it has something to do with people thinking it's a choice between a bc or a frig in their fleet, when in reality it's a choice between a frig or nothing.

Edit: I'm not, have never and will never be a goon. I just think the image proves a valuable point.

They wouldn't have been what they were if they didn't do something right

Just wondering, is the TL corp active and stuff?
I played eve like nine months ago and started back up again. I am an european so I don't know if there's only americans in the corp or what? And how's your standing on nubs? Atm I'm just doing some trading while training skills because I'm not comfortable enough with PvP.
I've already got an application up with eve university, but I'd much rather be a part of a TL corp.

Maybe but I found their eventual downfall deliciously ironic. I believe I actually smiled when I heard what happened.
Anyway im thinking of fitting out a vargur and I'm going back and forth on how to fit the damn thing. Hi slots are ez ez.
4x 800mm AC II 2x Tractor 1x Salvager
Mid slots have me a bit iffy. I don't REALLY want to fit CN invulns on a 0.0 ship because they run 300mil a pop. I have like 8 of them but still -.- The running issue is that I can either run a two SBA setup + 2 cn invulns or a 3 hardener setup + 1 SBA. Sanctums have a ton of cherubims and seraphims though...which do HIGH HIGH therm damage/em damage respectively.
I think about it some more and I'll probably have no choice but to use CN invulns for santums at least. For havens I can drop an SBA for another Tracking Comp or something.
2x CN invulns 2x Tech 2 SBA 1x Pith A-type Medium 1x Faction Tracking Comp
It's the only way I can get adequate EM/Therm resistances -.- Especially because cherubims just rape. I'm iffy about the shield booster too. Only using the medium it makes it cap stable without having to fit cap mods....unfortunately every mission runner knows this so it makes it a 700mil booster. I could use a cheaper deadspace booster that costs me 300mil or some odd but I would lose a DPS rig most likely. The tank would be better though, as I'd use a large booster for sure.
Lows are ez
3x Gyro 2x TE'
Choices choices. The thing will shoot AC's out to 100km this way though...
I could also use like a full Tech 2 build with a cap booster setup that's a good 1billion cheaper to buy but it requires me to get a shit ton of cap boosters into nullsec. I mean a S H I T T O N. The tech 2 option probably is better though....

Just go with the cap stable setup if you have the ISK.
It's pretty safe to rat in 0.0 as long as you keep your eyes on local.

one comment... WTF you can do one of the sanctums in a drake, as well as all the lower ones, and you can do everything in regular bses. if you want to spend couple of bil so you could make 50 instead of 40 mil an hour you deserve to get your ratting ships blown up once a week.
wait, were you the guy that lost that cnr with faction LAUNCHERS?

Yup. Don't you remember I had to train up manufacturing skills just to build them because NOBODY could?!
Sanctums in a drake aren't worth it. Hell they aren't even worth it in a haven. The whole point of the vargur was more or less to do anomalies and then subsequently the escalation if it so happens. I'll probably just end up using the tech 2 fit because really, it's better. Also they can do cosmic signatures much much better. I average 80mil an hour on 0.0 anoms if I have a ship designed for it IE Golem for Guristas etc etc.
I lost that CNR through sheer stupidity. Forgot to change the name, wasn't careful, and generally lackadaisical not giving a shit that day. It makes me feel better that it's the first BS sized ship I lost in 3 years . I don't fly ships I can't afford to lose anyway. Meh.. shit happens.
On the upside it paid itself over 3 times before it blew up in a fiery explosion.

I need someone with 1.2 billion ISK online. I got a good contract to make around 40mil ISK in profit but I don't have that kind of Capital :p It may not be much profit for you but it is for me, even more so considering I probably won't need to move anything.
Mot if you could hop in real quick to at least tell me if it's a good idea I would appreciate it.
A Revelation plus 3 unfitted Large Capacitor Control Circuits I in Lonetrek (my current region) for 1.2B I can make a profit by selling it in orders but I guess I could make more if I do it in contracts over in The Forge or somewhere else.

holy shit jayme how much time do you spend ratting if you managed to pay it off three times :D i dont think i earned more than a bil in my whole eve career from ratting, and i dont see why anyone should if you can make much more money doing much less boring stuff (which thankfully in eve you can). unless you actually like ratting :>

I like ratting complexes a lot. The unique challenge they present is a whole lot of fun for me. I dual box class 4's sometimes but the logistics of staying in W-Space really requires a corporation that's dedicated to it.
Anoms and Plexes are just... I dunno, I really enjoy doing them in different ship types. I don't actually pimp out my ship types often but that CNR was just an itch I wanted to scratch. They give out such nice rewards if you know what you're doing.
That being said I miss PvP a lot, but I just don't trust myself in a PvP setting with my current computer. Once I get my laptop back i'm going back to full time PvP. I want to get my new Amarr alt (Jayme Meladi) into the corp soon, she's just FULL pvp spec besides PI skills. She trains faster than Hyey does too.

If Vil ever logs on to give us access to JF or so Gordon tells me he would, or Revo gets a new comp we can just jump down a bunch of cap boosters.

GDI GET BACVK ON
Edit: KIZUUU RAGEEEEEEEEE

Anyone know where i can find a list of the rewards for the career missions... specifically I would like to know:
- Which missions give which ships - which missions give implants
that way i can figure out which career missions i want to do to get the ships and items i want from them...
(If anyone has a link to that info, or can post it here, that would be awesome)

Don't know of any place which lists it but, you basically have 4 choices, since each factions career agents give ships from their respective faction. I *THINK* you get the mining frigate, one of the combat frigates and a destroyer in the end.
I recall getting the missile boat variation of the combat frigs.
Breacher instead of Rifter for Minmatar, Tristan instead of Incursus etc.
You might get the fast but weak combat frigate aswell, like the Atron or Slasher. EDIT: This is in addition to the stronger one.
Anyway do all of the career agents, even if you aren't planning keep doing whatever they go through, lots of free stuff and basic info about everything is good :3
