Edit: Also, Gem probably stole from us so he could tell the french girl what a badass he is. unfortunately i was so fast, that it was already liquified and in the corp wallet which he also took

I think I speak for the majority of the corp when I say that everyone has treated Gem with much respect when compared to how whiney this kid was, he was always crying out for isk and talking about his 15 year old problems, Im pretty happy that hes gone since I wont have to cope with that, had he just asked me for a couple bil so I wouldnt have to hear about him anymore I would have gladly accepted.
I'm glad you said this first. I'd actually had him blocked on vent and chat for a while because he irritated the fuck out of me. "I'm fat and can't get girls, waaahhhhh, wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ur a faggg" gets tiresome very quickly.

Yeah for like a month I thought kwark was talking alone in TS from time to time but it was cause gem was muted and I forgot about it lol.

It's probably irrelevant either way. It seems like Kwark has only trustworthy directors now.
I dont know, Karah is russian...

Its not getting funnier the more you mention it tbh

It's a pity really. Gem started out as a really nice kid then just had a really terrible phase in the last couple months, making some really naive comments and actions etc that you would expect from a 15-year old.
I had hoped it was just a short phase that he would quickly grow out of but this corp theft takes things quite far. It's quite sad that he's pretty much cemented his position with this one move, with pretty much no way to return.
I have no idea where he'll go from here in EvE or even in life, but I don't see him doing too good currently. With that said, I still wish him all the best and hope he grows up quickly.

Think Gem was the one who made off with my freighter? lol.

Sad story, he was honestly a 'good kid'. I remember last time he quit EvE, he came back within a few days explaining how much he missed Kwark and the rest of The Hatchery and our antics on teamspeak. As a 15 year old who spends nearly all his free time on a game with a group of people, it's going to hit him hard when he realizes what he did. And he lost people who are probably his best friends. On a side note, I never trusted him... and this is why its hard to trust anyone on EvE.

We hope, anyways.
Well if I don't get to blame Gem, I'll blame Tofu. Fair trade.

Well said pufftrees. I WAS this kid, back in 1998, 14 years old and playing UO. I was in a guild full of pretty decent people, although getting fairly bored of the game. Out of a youthful desire to stir shit up, I passed a key to the guild's keep to a rival PvP guild who then came in, slaughtered everyone and stole everything. At first, of course, I thought "lol." Pretty soon after though, it hit me: i had just betrayed for no good reason a large number of people that had actually put some trust in me. And of course, no one trusted me after that point - not the guild i had betrayed, and not the rival guild, the respect of whom I now realize I was trying to earn. It hit me pretty hard and it did lead me to do a lot of thinking about how naive and really quite awful I had been. I'm sure Gem is going through that right now... I hope he learns from it.

Everything has been returned in full. It is my view that Gem made a mistake. He is a child with issues and he did something that I'm sure he now regrets. However I will still be kicking him from corp. While I'm not angry with him I do hold him accountable for his actions and it will not be possible for him to stay within the corp after this.

long point to kill a missionrunner isnt that uncommon, tho. the nos is uh.. fail. the guys entered warp the same time you did and were decloaked by the gate. eve is a bitch.

The long point makes sense, and yeah the decloaking took Kwark and I by surprise lol
