I used to play EvE quite a bit in college and after, but now i live in Hawaii and it's hard to find people who play when i play. I'd be active around 6-11 HST (9-2AM PST) when I'm not deployed. Also like I said I deploy. Usually for a couple months at a time with a month or so home between them, give or take.
2 chars both around 50mil SP and enough money.
Kwark is actually a Hitlerbot, so he's on 23/7. Most activity I see is usually about 3pm until 1am (GMT-4) during the week, and just about all day on weekends.
The '3 of a kind' rule was more likely the result of the mass faction cruiser (Stabber Fleets, Omen Fleets, Caracal Fleets, Vexor Fleets) spam from AT6 rather than the Star Fraction mass Thoraxes. After AT5 was a logi-fest, they outright banned logis in AT6, meaning that buffer and DPS was all that mattered. Their low point cost, and decent DPS/Tank made faction cruisers super common in that tournament made them super common.
In AT7 CCP switched to the one logistics format, although this year we may see more cruiser or BC heavy setups with the ability to ban one ship. I think we may also see some dual logi disguise setups or logistics with T3's actually repping. Will be very interesting to see.

the ability to ban one ship has been, well, banned.

what's all that other stuff even mean though, it's like a foreign language to me
if all that stuff means nothing to you you should be asking for rifter fits, not bs :p
Yep! That's what this is all about. Create a 14 day trial, and download the client from the site. When you're in, join the channel 'SCBW' and mention that you're looking for a mentor. Hopefully someone will pick you up, although we do seem to be a bit short on people able to mentor at the moment.

Basically, as long as you can listen and aren't lazy (actually you can be lazy, but don't be useless and lazy) you'll do fine.
If you're going to ask something like "what does a missile launcher do" or something REALLY basic that a google search would net you, or the EVE wiki can solve in under a minute, you should do that instead of bugging the corp management with stuff like that. :p
While mentors are nice, there's still a large portion of EVE that is self-teaching, so put forth an effort to learn and understand and you'll fit right in.
Hope to see you soon, feel free to say hello, Torengire in game.
What are you talking about? that video is 100% relevant, mumbles has a great point- you just need to expand your thought process in regards to eve. And besides, it's only a few years old.

Video is relevant. I never understood mumble's point outside of saying I was a horrible person and picking on him and I was just wrong. No reasons at all, just wrong He also thought I was in the hatchery T_T How rude!

It was more of a trolling/insulting/last-post-martyr thing I would have to guess

Lesse... martyring, nogo. Inb4, nogo. Challenging the mods that way, combined with "I don't want to be here anyway"... nogo... wait a sec, didn't you not want to be here anymore either? I'm having trouble keeping our trolls straight...
