my bad, that was pretty bad by me tbh considering that he only had 1000 structure left, however im not sure why Karah always flys hookbills instead of ships that can actaully do dps.
Because unlike rifters i can get him scramwebbed, which i did, which started the fight. Without it there wouldve been no fight. I fly what i have fun with and i enjoyed outflying his linked snaked cane in my ab hookbill.
By the way, any new guy who wants to make easy money, this looks like a massive scam opportunity. http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1217727&page=1 I don't doubt that their service is legitimate but they wanted me to pay in advance and if people are willing to actually do that then you might as well abuse it.
It is very hard to make lots of money from pvping due to its nature of being completely unpredictable. Sometimes you don't kill anything for days, sometimes you kill it but nothing good drops, sometimes you get lucky and kill lots of expensive ships and everything drops (yeah right).
Someone just misclicked their buy order in Jita. Instead of buying 100k PP L at 1120.77 they put out a buy order for 11200.77. This buy order price was higher than the sell order prices I put out so eve automatically fulfilled his order with my ammo and shipped me 1.1 billion isk.
thorax charge! I believe this is one of the reason why you arent allowed to spam one ship type anymore (limit is three)
That was before the nano and web nerf. Dunno how lasers and projectiles faired at the time though. One ship type restriction was mainly to avoid the 8/9 Fleet Stabber setups (and variants) everyone was flying.
The most common battleship in a nanofleet would be the tempest, or nanopest as it is commonly reffered to in such circumstances. The problem however is that it has something of a sign saying "Primary Me " on it so you don't normally use it unless you have both links and at least one scimitar. The tank is rather papery for a battleship, however it is able to handle roughly equivalently to a full gank shield cane in terms of speed and agility.
The mach can also nano and is easily the most agile battleship in the game, but the hull alone has an 800mil pricetag I believe, which places it quite a bit out of the pricerange of most pilots. Not to mention the amount of support you would want to actually warrant using it in the first place.
Battlecruisers certainly aren't the biggest things in a nanofleet, there just isn't much point in using bigger ships until you have a proper support backbone in the form of logistic and recon ships. For nanogang work (which generally has far too few pilots involved to properly fill out support ships) battlecruisers are normally the biggest things you'll see fielded in terms of ship size. This isn't to say a nanopest or even a nanod mach won't be hanging around, but the gang would have to be quite confident in their intel (or rather reckless) to pull one out with such few numbers.
Just curious what hours you guys are active. I used to play EvE quite a bit in college and after, but now i live in Hawaii and it's hard to find people who play when i play. I'd be active around 6-11 HST (9-2AM PST) when I'm not deployed. Also like I said I deploy. Usually for a couple months at a time with a month or so home between them, give or take.
