Hi. I hope someone have noticed that I am not playing 24/7 any more.. Eve was taking to much time for my real life (and I failed some university courses).
In before "Can I have your stuff" no you can't I want to have something if I come back and no I would never trust someone with my account info.
I had a fun time in the hatchery and I wish you best of luck with killing eve uni and other corps.
o/ Rev: for inviting me into Liquid inc without any checks at all (no teamliquid account, Sorry for telling you that I could fly curses with recon I and no curse).
Kwark: for accepting me into the Hatchery, being mad, fun and competent in almost all fleets. Was really fun fighting in all those highsec wars. "The Harb is bad because it's not a Drake" and "This drake is worth more then this entire fleet"
Caelum: for luring me out to 0.0 again. Never really liked 0.0 much though and now I have ships stuck out in the middle of nowhere .
Firebolt: For suiciding entire fleets fc:ing and giving me secret info (director channel). Dramiel vs Ashimuu never give up never surender.
Karah: Row row fight the gateguns... with a stealth bomber.
Ueberlisk: wh pvping with you is one of the funniest things I have done in eve. You also protect me from the danger that is learning how to probe.
Lalala, once I find an answer to why my computer decided to start locking up, maybe I'll have time to log in for a while before TSL games kick off... say, does the stream work on the in-game browser?
Lost another hookbill to stupidity. Followed a legion from odde into hedal, called for backup, probed him down, scrammed him in his mission and noticed hes going down. So i tell them to let me solo it and leave fleet. They be mad on ts. I start orbiting him with ab on at 500 and hes not hitting me, despite having 1 web on me. Suddenly i get bumped by a dramiel rat and lose transversal, so he takes out my shield in 2 volleys, before i manage to get into a tight orbit again. He goes down shortly afterwards. But instead of warping out i go for his pod and think what can happen vOv...ofc the rats switch to me and i die like 2 secs before i could warp out after killing his pod :/ Was worth it though! http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=9509353 http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=9509363
I read through your OP, and then I read it again, and then I realised, "Hey, my eyes are hemorrhaging" Sure, you might have been lucky to catch Ivy League going their way through a gate, but your OP is severely lacking in several areas. Okay I was wrong there, but still.
First up, your scouting section made me almost throw up. The most effective scout is not one with fast locktime, an overheated MWD or whatnot. Ever tried using CovOps? If you want to catch a miner in a belt, you uncloak in his face and point him down before he realizes what the fuck. Plus they can warp cloaked. Also, using an expensive ship for scouting is the dumbest thing ever. Scouts are meant to be expendable, and if you undock and you are designated scout for system XXX-XXX, you need to understand that chances are that you are not going back with your ship intact.
If you have time to put what you have to say in chat and it’s not addressed to one or a few people who are on ts when put it in chat, dammit! This doesn’t mean you have to type out whole convos, but keep it in mind that not everyone is on ts. There is simply no reason not to do this if you have the time to do it.
Okay, this is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my whole time PvPing. The reason corps like DNA, m0o, BYDI, BURN EDEN, PL and TRI were so effective (and still is) is that, if shit hits the fan, they dont take the time to type out shit in chat. They scream at you on TS/Vent/Mumble/whatever. Since fleet chat is a shitton of inane shit anyhow, it both secures that the message doesn't get lost in the chat, and it is much quicker.
My next point relates to what I just said
The 4th “state” is during a battle, this is basically when the hatchery’s fleet is in the attacking another fleet. Coms get hazy here and the FC should still be able to give out orders but what you should say is: xxxxxx ship is being primaried, I have lost point on xxxxxx, and other important things like there is a massive BS fleet on dscan. This is mainly about practise and know what’s important and what isn’t, for the newer players just warp out if you going to die, (scimis will prolly be reping other ships), and say if you have lost point. Coms at this stage will never be perfect but that is to be expected.
Coms should NEVER EVER EVER EVER GET HAZY. During a battle, it is of utmost importance that coms is kept CLEAN, and we are talking squeky clean. If someone accidently activates their mic and breathe into it. It can fuck the target calling up. The only reason someone should ever interrupt coms is if shit is really about to hit the fan "X amounts of falcons uncloaking at 200" or "Cyno popped at 3.2 AU, carriers coming in" If you have something semi-important to say, politely and calmly say someything like "FC Break" and then wait for a go ahead or not right now. Don't hesitate to say FC Break if you notice something important (Although, don't use it to ask general questions you moron, use chat for that shit.)
My last (so far) point about your OP is the description of race ships. I mean, what the crap?
Pretty much all of them are wrong. (Cept Amarr, but w'ell get to that)
First up Minmatar. There should be a huge fucking sticker in 50-foot high red laser letters stating: WARNING: THIS RACE TAKES THE LONGEST AMOUNT OF TIME TO TRAIN PROPERLY FOR The reason is that they usually require BOTH armor and shield skills and projectile and missile skills.
Next we have your Caldari description Now, they don't suck in PvP. Period. Kitsune, Blackbird, Falcon, Scorpion, Widow for starters. They are all pretty damn good at what they do, and more. The Falcon can be a fantastic scout and the Scorpion can be shield tanked more than a domi can be armor tanked. (+it doesn't look fucking horrible anymore) Also, Never underestimate what 5 beagles can do on their own. The Nighthawk is also pretty nifty. Actually I am joking, don't use an eagle. Again, I am joking, think outside of the box.
Amarr: I agree with your postings, but that might just be me.
Gallente: Come on... You're not even trying are you? For more information on the singular cruiser wonder, watch this:
Gallente have some pretty kick-ass shit. The Brutix can put out a punishing amount of DPS for a BC, sure it's not as good as the Harbinger, but it is definately not bad. In the BS department we have 2 amazing ones, and 1 not-so-amazing ship. You get 5 Dominix with RReps, and whoopdie-bingo-presto, invincible Dominixes, oh and there is about 25 Ogre II's heading for you. Drones are awesome, ECM Drones have saved my ass more than once while I was shooting around with DNA. Before the nano-nerf, some guy in my corp happily engaged vagabonds and machariels in his Domi with his webifier drones and a rack of neutron blasters, because with 5 web drones on you, yes, a Dominix is faster than you. The Megathron is a solid and stable sniper platform. In the HAC department, the Diemost (Deimos) deals out an impressive amount of DPS, while being super fragile. The Ishtar is a Domi in a cruiser format basically. Their Recons are awesome, as is their HICs and their Logi.

p.s. noob-ships are somewhat useful. I think KIATolon (SUAS) said it best "No-one turns up to a fight in a noobship, but if you've died and an Ibis is the only thing you have left to tackle a carrier, it's a good idea to slap a point on it."

I don't think you understand us. Firstly that op is massively out of date and a compilation of dozens of small things various people have written over time. I have no idea what it contains and I frankly don't care, disregard it. Second, Ivy League makes up a small portion of our kills and we are very much not catching them luckily going through a gate. They deliberately come to our home system every day to have a big fleet fight at a celestial and every day we take them on massively outnumbered and win. There's no luck, their FC convos me and we arrange it.
You can't just read an op which barely relates to us (the post was written 18 months before the hatchery was founded and has been editted a billion times) and jump to conclusions.
^^^ All I was trying to do was help, so if you are going to be a bitch about it, fine.
On TL for SC mainly, been playing EVE On and off for a few years. I saw the thread in the side bar and I had to take a peek. Mind you, my post is only my 0.2 ISK

If you feel you can contribute and want to learn what we do and give some input that'd be great. Just realise that right now you have zero clue what we do and therefore your input will be less useful. For example we're a corp full of brand new tl members, most of whom have no skill points. Therefore your suggestion about widows isn't particularly useful because it's a tech II battleship. I'm not trying to disagree with your suggestion or bitch, I'm explaining why it is inappropriate given the nature of the corp.

What? I doubt FB posted anything 'bitchy' as he's generally the most mannered person on forums i've ever seen. Kwark just said that it barely relates to us anymore.. and that's classed as bitchy?
Alot of what you said is good, It's just sadly not that applicable for the current state we're in. There's ALOT of low SP (<4/5m) Pilots that make up the majority of our corp, and so we can't really throw them into Dominixs with RR.
EVE is about long-term, not short term. I could have listed caps there aswell, but as I don't give a flying fuck about them, I didn't. Hell, I can't even fly widows myself, but if you like the scorpion, the widow is the natural next step.

I'm under 3m SP! Me in a T2 ship would be expensive killmails waiting to happen. As opposed to me in any ship, which is killmails waiting to happen.
Luckily, from what I hear, KwarK is awesome at making the dead ships totally worth it.

Sure, you can't throw them into Domi's with RR (Well, technically, you can) but what you can do, is throw them into Thoraxes.
I said you didn't understand us because your post was based upon a post that doesn't accurately describe or reflect us. Sorry if that seems bitchy. Hopefully you'll still want to contribute and we can become friends and fly together.
