So you end up just logging on to update skills for the first 2 months....sigh... If you show up capable of flying a battlecruiser with nice skills guess what I'm gonna tell you to do. That's right, get in a fucking rifter. You learn to play in the rifter, you're not just wasting time. Our rifters are incredibly useful in a lot of what we do and they get a lot of use. Especially now we've decced all the locals so they can fight on gates. You will get a lot of pvp in a rifter if you log on and actually spend time playing (which you don't do btw Squiggles) and if you follow the example of Squiggles here all you will do is prolong the rifter period because you'll not have any idea of how to pvp.

They never just come out and say we fought pvpers today and got farmed, back to dec'n carebear nubs. Perhaps this is something to do with the 85% efficiency we have when pvping in lowsec. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=home It'd be pretty hard to give that a negative slant. I mean I could try but basically we're really, really good at what we do.

We give battlereports for almost every fight we're in, including the ones we lose. I can go back and find quotes for you but I don't know who you are so I'm not going to put in the effort. I'll just challenge you to find a major fight that we've lost (go ahead and look through our kb) that we haven't posted about in this thread.

What would my progression look like over the first month or two? I get in the new player ship (Rifter?) and would do what for you exactly? My apologies if this has already been discussed in detail (just point me to the page # if it has). EDIT: I forgot to say I would prefer to be active on the pvp side of things, not "boring" stuff like mining.

The entry requirement for the corp is that your a member of the TL community, not that your any good at EVE. Alot of the members, including myself are very new to EVE and fly Frigates (generally quite badly). I have no idea whether our performance is good or not, and I dont care whether it is either way. Generally I would say we have massive room for improvement, but it couldn't be less of a big deal. And this is the TL Corp's thread, on TL's forums if you use your brain its not hard to work out that the comments are generally going to be positive.

Ninja Edit: And if the trainer is Kwark, you should know he tends to shoot his dogs too sometimes.

But we are talking ourselves up simply because we have a love for this game and want to make it known for others. We have never talked ourselves up as to say ''OH YEAH TODAY WE FUCKING SMASHED SOME BADS'' when what really happened is we had 5:1 odds and we got smashed, but obviously, we use colorful words to describe what happens. (theres a difference between talking about something with excitement, which we do, and lying about what happened, which has never been done as far as im concerned) A good 90% of the corporation currently lives in lowsec, sure we do kill some bears that didnt take the time to read the warning before they jumped in here, but most of the rest we fought are, to a certain extent (its hard to describe ANZAC as pvpers just because of how shit they are), pvpers. As for the decking part well I dont know if its really necessary to comment, right nwo the only decs we have running are against ANZAC so our rifters can actually get some action instead of getting instapopped on gates. Feel free to come to oddel anytime though, and Ill gladly let you write the BR on the forums once its over (and youre in your pod) ![]() Dog metaphor best metaphor
