The Harbinger is camping a plex gate, which I warp to at zero. He can't track me and I start blowing up his drones (which he keeps pulling). At about 60% armor or so his Falcon warps in a permajams me. But at this time I am too low on armor where I feel I can't safely burn away without getting alpha'd. I eventually die to four drones (two from each) because I can't permarep without my nos.
So sad.

I don't think it's D-Scan, I think it's on-board ship scanner (the one you operate probes from, except when you don't have probes)
And what I heard is it's having it's range buffed, but it's speed reduced. *shrugs* Rumors.

What would you guys expect from a total newbie in terms of skills trying to join the TL team in Eve? I know the main page says that we can get a trial & all but can someone go from a total bad to being actually useful to the team in just 21 days?
I played the trial maybe 2 times before & am just starting to really get into it but don't really want to waste anyone's time to help me learn stuff that is probably considered (lol he doesn`t know that?) kind of stuff. I don't have access to the rookie chat because it's like an old trial that I reactivated... in fact when I logged in I had 2 mil points to spent... I'm like 14 days away from being a total scrub flying a hurricane & I'm gonna get so owned.
If you were to ask for a certain amount of skills (as in knowing how to play the game) before joining, what would they be?
For example I know how to use the guns & other stuff but I have no idea what the velocity & angular stuff is about. I know the basics such as killing rats, doing missions & joining chat channels..... that's about it for right now.
When I read the posts here people are saying stuff that is like way out there for me lol
Also I was wondering what is the opinion of people about PLEX... I mean if I wanted too I would have infinite ISK..... is using the credit card as a way to get easy money kind of a (scrub) way of doing things & people find it cheap?

Just join SCBW no matter the skill level. You'll be running fleet ops about a day in and that will make you be good or you'll get your ship fragged by Kwark. It's no biggie and it isn't that hard to be not bad, you'll probably just face some road bumps, like not knowing what the box in the top right corner does.
