We let 2 escape yesterday with about 10-20% structure, 1 being you (kwark telling us not to overheat even though you were trying to deagress) and 1 being the other guy that warped off since kwark stopped overheating his point at 36km range On February 10 2011 07:17 TurpinOS wrote: I dont know what FBs trying to say, but im really interested in hearing about Karahs triple manti loss. The question I have is what times are you guys usually on? I would normally be logging on straight after the daily down time period.(11:00 to 12:00 GMT). Is anyone from TL on around this time or should I be looking to join an Australian based corp?

Few seconds later Skillshott pipes up saying he's got a harb mining in Emol with a yellow can next to him. We think he's baiting, so we get a scimi up and tell him to pack a LOT of ammo (Skillshott is in a rifter with very few skillpoints). Skillshott gets friendly with the Harb, who invites him to take his can. After we get the scimi in place, Skillshotts flips him. Nothing happens for about a minute or two, in which time the Harb and Skillshott somewhat taunt each other (nahhhh man I'm pretty sure you can't shoot me in highsec!). Finally he takes a shot at the rifter, and we start warping people in. Of course, only Skillshott has killrights on him though, so we prepare for a long and slow death. His shields go away after about 2 minutes, then we start working on his armor. We realise he's active tanked, we scan him and find out he's stable at 80% cap. At this point we decide there's no way the rifter can kill him so we start thinking of other plans. Kwark gets a drake to try and suicide gank him (lol) but halfway through those preparations, his corp mate comes in a probe, takes a pot shot at one of us, and gets Konkordokken. The Concord police commanders hang around for a while, making it almost impossible for Kwark to get the suicide gank in before dying. So we put our second plan into action. I go into ammold and buy a Weapon Upgrades skillbook and Kwark fits an expensive meta-fit Thrasher with mass gyros. I come along, jettison the WU book, and Skillshott takes it and starts skilling it (16 minutes). Kwark buys some faction EMP S and Fusion S at insane prices and comes along. Our plan was basically to have Skillshott (the lone person with killrights) eject from rifter and jump into thrasher to kill him, while the rest of us keep bumps on the Harb while we lose point. During this he's been complaining to us that he's 16 and has an English report due the next day, and that if we cause him to fail his mid-terms he'd fuck us for life. Vov starts trying to encourage him to log off, under the assumption that when he logs off his repair reps will stop working and the rifter will be able to kill him. Suddenly he disappears from local, and Skillshott starts shooting him again. Unfortunately we discover that VoV was wrong, and his reps continued. We brought back the thrasher and it became a race against time. We basically had 15 minutes before his ship would disappear in space. His shields disappeared quickly and the thrasher switched to RF Fusion. Slowly his armor started to break.......when at 10% armor, he disappeared. ![]() Quite a bit of comedy going on with all the ammo switching, cargo can sorting and ship jumping. Skillshott's overview was a bit fucked up so he was having difficulty finding our ammo and all...(This can is full of ore...No, THAT can, the one NEXT to you. Oh. I'm trying to get into this ship but it says it's full...Well then, not THAT thrasher, the OTHER thrasher next to you...)

Pretty much nowadays I just log in to change skills and that's it. Any good leads on a group of players with Voice(TS, Mumble, Vent) who would be willing to throw down on some casual Eve action every once in a while? I don't want to play every night, and I don't have much experience in PvP team fights since I've never found a good corp to hang around with. But I would love to be a part of a group of peoples who like to have fun and are entertaining to talk to. Live in SF, California, USA, so I'm on PST. Could usually join nights or on weekends. Generally work pretty late on week nights, so East Coasters may be already asleep by the time I'm around. Anyway, just thought I would throw that out there to the forum.

So i thought instead of decloaking to reload (after i shot 20 times being decloaked anyway) its safer to warp to a station at 100 and then decloak and reload (the fuck was wrong with me?). The second time i undocked with gcc in lowsec and died. The third time i waited till gcc was up but i still had aggression timer and died anyway.
