A 100MN Afterburner will add so much mass to your ship that it will like 30 seconds to accellerate and it would turn and align even slower. 100MN Afterburners, even if you can fit them on a Cruiser or Battlecruiser make it far too heavy to be practical. Use the YT-8 10MN MicroWarpdrive. Ditch the DG Photon Field, just get another invul. You cannot ever anticipate what damage type the enemy will use, so unless there's a major hole in your resists by not putting in an invul (e.g. 0% vs 80% resists), use invuls/EANMs. What exactly is the purpose of this setup? With a Covert Ops cloak you can determine 90% of how, where and when the engagement will happen. You can simply decloak on top of a target with a regular 10MN Afterburner, bump it off align and point it before it can warp off. If you want a solo setup you might want to aim for something more like this, you can fly it with Recon Ships at IV (that's why there's 100 CPU left for if you don't have Recon Ships V) Covert Ops cloak AND nano is kinda overdoing it unless you're flying a Rapier. For a gang you'd be better off with a Lachesis. | ||

I'm at 169 after 3 weeks. I suspect it's because I spent a good portion of that time training up various drone skills and other stuff. My fit is currently: 4x 425mm Autocannon I, EMP M 2x Small NOS Microwarpdrive I Warp Disruptor I LSE I Damage Control I 2x Gyro I 2x Tracking Enhancer I 3x Screen reinforcers 5x Warrior II What can I do at this point? | ||

Use Meta level modules. Base Tech I is the least effective. For Gyro's try to use the Counter balanced version (meta 4) or the Pnuematic one (meta 3), they'll give you a lot more DPS. The guns themselves can be better as well. This fit is with some basic skills im assuming are somewhat similar to yours. I've added two assault launchers for additional DPS since you wont really need the NOS with autocannons. Shield rigs are the cheapest, if you want to shield tank you could switch out the webifier for a shield extender and use shield rigs and put a tracking enhancer or gyro where the 800mm is. | ||

The guns are a bit more, that's up to you. If you're so inexperienced at PvP, I'd recommend getting in a Rifter though. A lot easier on the wallet to lose and still plenty of stuff it can kill. It will probably sneak through most gatecamps as well. | ||

Also that shield Rupture fit is just fine, and the 2x TE are for range not tracking. With T1 guns its less effective yes, but with barrage it brings the range up to approximately 30km. | ||
