Obviously, I was talking of him from the perspective of someone he is blue with. Just like 99.9999% of other GSF-alikes, he is a belligerent shit to non-blues. The reason Furion is so special is that he lacks the barest sense of awareness - either of himself or of those around him. Even when totally unprovoked, he's incredibly defensive. Since the awareness "gene" is missing, his defense mechanism is to present himself as near invulnerable to those around - so strongly, in fact, that he comes across as doing this very intentionally as I said earlier. He's very much like a weather reporter without access to thermometers, barometers, and satellite imagery. He has to fake it for appearances. I hate to be a downer about this, but when thinking about this guy I mostly pity him. Most simpletons know enough to realize that they are simpletons, but he doesn't reach that point. He's a noisome, egocentric simpleton. Where most simpletons are content to sit back and let those around them take charge and make decisions, he occasionally feels a need to pipe up on issues (especially those that don't involve him in particular). He tries to project this rowdy, rebellious, fun-centric persona, but it comes off as extremely awkward. Simpleton might not be the right word, and it could possibely be a highly insensitive word since I suspect he actually does have some kind of mental disorder. As you (KwarK) said, he has a strong dissociative element when it comes to communicating with others. It's like he's reading what everyone says after it goes through single-pass encryption. Some of it gets so jumbled up in his head that he seems unable to make sense of it, and his coping mechanism is to fill in the blanks and continue on "cold". I've seen both people with stroke and with permanent head trauma with very similar symptoms. I think it'd be quite illuminating to run him through a battery of simple logic tests. What's really sad is that those around him who should be his "allies" sense his otherness and privately make fun of him. Get yourself chatty with people who know him. In private convos, all is revealed. He is seen as an entertaining relic, a society-wide in-joke. The thing with GSF-touched cultures, though, is that they are likely to end up forgetting the charade they pull is a charade and start treating it as real. With all the half-truths and doublespeak they swallow daily, it sometimes becomes to difficult to stay grounded in reality. Either way, Furion will remain cautiously oblivious. /edit - The easiest way to deal with him (the way FA leadership has dealt with him so far) is to dismiss his ideas in a way that sounds like his ideas were really good and instrumental to achieving the objective.

we end up fighting severance on the first jump into null. We have 2 caracals / naga / drake / oracle. They have gnosis / 3 harb / drake / oracle / tengu / scimitar / scythe / talos / malediction but their RR lands late so we manage to blap their dps off-field, and take a tengu to 50% shields before we can't really do much, gf http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=18676895 We end up making another 40 jumps through aridia to karan. local is at 80 and none of us are outlaw so we just sit on the Hophib ingate and hope to catch some poor sod coming through. The only thing that we catch is an SFI. But surely an SFI can burn to gate quite easily, right? not if you fit 2 sebos in the mids http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=18677349 GonRin > fuck yeah then do the random pve boat violencing in a plex. This ishtar saw me coming from 140 km out, then decided to stay, then got surprise pointed with my "RF warp disruptor" Jarlaxle Banre > nice point on that one Jarlaxle Banre > that was way far out http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=18677340 then 20 jumps through outer ring with GonRin singing on comms yeaahh. we enter syndicate and gank the shit out of this honorable sleipnir http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=18677899 which results in genos korea probing down some guys running a plex who we unceremoniusly dunk. For some reason the ishtar sits 100 km away, starts moving then gets pointed at 40 km so gg. The nemesis warped to a bubble with 92384982384923 drones, tried to burn out, then got one shotted by an oracle. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=18677857 Final fight comes when we decide to warp our gang onto zero onto a bubble because fuck it why not. This kind of ends horribly because the sleipnir in their gang solos our entire fleet gg (warp all our tier 3 bc onto sleipnir at zero gggggggggggggg), but we manage to gank some of their shit in response so isk victory. The cap on a caracal is actually really really fucking bad without genolutions and HSM V http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_related&kll_id=18677763 GonRin probably less happy about getting welped to zero on angry sleipnir + huginn LOL GonRin > shit fc rekina koreans then spend more than an hour after arguing about this fight in TS. probably longer. tl;dr fuck goons for starting this great war and making there be never no fights nowhere edit: as of downtime the koreans are still arguing edit: we've reached the 2 hour mark of arguing

Based God bows to no man. Especially not inferior esport Koreans. Also did you ask gonrin if hydra buying our scam etana for 85b was the reason he needed peasant tengu loots? Also also why the f*** did you actually give your loot to them when you and bbq are the ONLY PEOPLE ON THE KILLMAIL?

That comment totally reinforced my appreciation of the advice/info I've gotten from you guys, because while I'm still terrible at EVE I am apparently miles ahead of people that have played for years.
