My opinion is that there is no reason to avoid 8.1 anymore. Might as well get the newest stuff.

That computer is really trash, I second the advice to check the CBRT.
About operating system I would stick with 7, the 8 with it's touch centered innovations isn't really worth adapting to.

I got the same offer and came back on the 7th, wanted to check out the ship changes. I Havn't played since they revamped frigs, let alone the bc and bs and so far I am liking the tech 1 cruiser and frig buffs, probably gonna plex. Question, with all the fac warfare going on now and the removal of static frig ded is solo fights without links more or less, don't want to plex my other accounts if I don't have too yet but seems like I noticed a ton of boosters

From TEST's most recent "Alliance update"
Since this is an update, I do have a major doctrine shift for you, as well as a bonus surprise. Our generic Oracle fit is now a shield fit, RIP your rigs. The surprise? Thank ProGodLegend (and Canaris) for Gokufleet.

Boy that looks revolutionary. I'm surprised nobody ever thought of that ever.

I heard that they were gonna start with Oracles and I somehow got the thought that they had managed to FINALLY take a look at what good pvp pilots are flying. In two years we will see goons change the caracal fleet from HML to RLML ^^

goon caracal is HAM not HML, everyone knows how bad HMLs are for most things nowadays
