Anyone know how the pay works if you do 95% of an incursion site with too many people then warp the spares out right before you complete so only the allowed number are on grid when the payout happens?

as far as i know, the pay only goes to those in the fleet who kill the trigger ship for completion who are on grid when it's killed.

So you can use twice as many dudes as the site is meant for to do 95% of the site then warp half of them out right before the end and the system doesn't recognise that you're gaming it? :CCP:

rnk in their video say you can have half the fleet sitting at the gate during a site to game extra rewards for the mother ship site, I don't see why what you say is gaming the system when the payout would be the same regardless only split up between less ships.

people did site with way more then it was intended to so that they could do the site really quickly (vindie+onerios with tracking links fleets) and then do the same site re-spawned to make more money and to win sites against other groups in high sec.

Its gaming the system, because you can farm it so much faster / harder with a larger fleet and then pull out the huge numbers, and collect your bounty.

Payout isn't split evenly. It's not fixed amount/people = payout per person. As the number of people goes above the maximum allowed the total payout gets reduced. If CCP let you warp off before spawning trigger then the system is pretty fundamentally broken.

Pretty much yeah. the sites that are there it really isn't really a reason to have more then 20-30 people in a fleet. logi scales lineraly and dps is hard to apply when things die almost instantly as they do with 10 dps ships.
