I mean: The first blink I see right now, while writing this is a Talos. Buyout value 82.68 mil, 8 blinks available for 13 million. That means you're paying 13 million for an average return of 82.68 mil / 8, or 10.335 mil. You guys are intelligent, so I'm assuming there is more than meets the eye here, or you don't really care about the ISK, which is totally possible, especially since from reading this thread I get the idea that making large amounts of ISK is not difficult for you guys. Their cut is huge, they use shill bidders, their code is unverifiable to be legit, they've given rewards to false players (200T celebration), etc. You can, however, have a wild swing and win billions off a few million in. They also have a reward system that gets you extra isk to play with just for playing. Overall, play if you have money to spend and like to gamble- its more exciting than buying tickets to a nyx lotto and waiting 3 weeks. I was about even until this week where I put in 300 then 100 mil and lost it real quick on 10-35m bids... I did win a Bhaalgorn and Amishu on promos though. I really, really doubt they're not legit simply because there's no incentive to rob people in two ways when the way they publicly state they rob people (overpricing tickets) is so effective.

I don't think shill bidding is bad.. basically they need to seed games so others will play- the players odds remain the same. I don't have a source for the 200t prize, but I think it was pretty obvious at the time (char achievements is a big tell).
You're right, all they really need is a massive cut. Like I said, I waste plenty of time on it with mixed success.

They make more than enough honestly, I cant see why they would scam people for a trivial amount more, when it runs the risk of killing their whole business.

I very much doubt they have any reason to specially scam anyone when everything they do is already a scam anyway.

Read like 3 pages starting there. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the whole thing is a scam, but I'm pretty sure the 250b winner was fake, and that they use shill bidders. Again, I don't care about shill bidders, I don't think that count's as a scam. And I'm really not surprised that they would rig one promo prize of a quarter of a trillion.

"Congratualions to all the winners! Congratulations on doing what it took to put yourself in a position to win.
Never Forget - Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity... ... I started this game with 5000 ISK and a crappy ship. What is your excuse?
I wish everyone the best of luck and I hope you all GET RICH! It will take the whiners longer because they lose focus, but I hope they get there, too."

Call me blind but I don't see anything there that would suggest the grand winner being a scam.

The reason I think Blink is probably doing underhanded things is that I would do underhanded things if I were running it. Maybe that's not a good reason.
It would make sense for them to designate a few people to get absurdly lucky constantly, like Ueber. Those people could spread the word that there's money to be made in Blink, drawing others to the service. See, every high roller in Blink *should* be in the red given the absurdly poor EV of the game, but some aren't. That's suspicious in and of itself.
As always I have to stress that you should never ever ever ever EVER play Blink, no matter how rich you think others who play it are.

And some people just like to burn isk there ... like someone in my corp who just buys 1 ticket of every drawing and lost around 6 B ISK with way to much played drawings but he said " at least i can do that alone in the Wh" xD We'll we need some people before we can capspawnchain our c5 anos/ fly sites and sometimes there aren't enough :D

NC. just wardec RvB
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=138410
tl;dr. RvB has a themed weekend, some dude breaks the theme, gets killed, gets asked for reimbursements as its douchy, rages about the word MATE, then logs his NC. director character on and decs us, as well as claiming he can undermine the integrity of CCP's GM type people.
NC. have dug their own graves, alliances around eve are now looking to give them a beating. Goons have already declared war and I expect PL, Test and Voltron to do the same.
I am going to call it now when this is all over NC. will disband or lose all their space.

Sounds like goons are really bored atm.

So today I decided to do some pew. I haven't really had much time for EVE these past couple weeks aside from logging on and doing random things like moving stuff around, organizing and cleaning, testing the FW waters (although from what I hear I won't get a single isk from it)... I also haven't written a battle report in ages.
I dropped by Assah and decided to go poke around. I went around the area and ratted a bit, popping my head into Providence just for a bit before going back to Assah. On my way back I noticed a Raptor and Crusader chasing me, but I was already home so it wasn't an issue. The Raptor pilot has a history of being bait, but I thought meh, I'm not really doing anything anyways so let's go see how big a trap I could spring. There was a 99% chance I'd get blobbed but hey, let's go for it.
Long story short: + Show Spoiler +
So afterwards, Tombes came online and said he wanted to go poke at EUNI. I brought a Thrasher, he brought a Thrasher, and off we went. At first they wouldn't undock, seeing the mighty firepower of two destroyer class vessels against their docked battlecruisers and battleships. They occassionally undocked Drakes, Hurricanes, and even a Raven (which despite wielding huge missiles, isn't very scary to a tiny Thrasher for many reasons). Tombes and I dance around while Drakes and Canes try to get warp ins on us. An Oracle randomly comes by and we could have killed it but hesitated due to the other stuff undocking. On some occasions they actually get into a really good position on us, but hesitate to aggress, so we just warp off. Later, me being stupid, gets seperated from Tombes and I warp off to reposition myself. As I'm warping off the Oracle lands near Tombes and he goes for it. I'm not even halfway coming back and Tombes solos the Oracle, congrats. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=14171165 I go afk for a bit meanwhile Tombes continues his bravery and gets a Cormorant kill.
Now step back for a second. The whole time we're doing this EUNI is sounding the war horn. Rally the troops. Bring anything, everything, immediately. This results in a kitchen sink camp on the only gate out of the area... + Show Spoiler + Somewhere here I kill a mining industrial ship. http://teamliquid.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=14171924 Don't ask.
Tombes decides to give the camp a try. After all, we're here for goodfites. I follow. He gets blobbed. He almost makes it out but the Tornado lands a pretty solid shot right as he's turning and he goes down.
He goes to reship but by the time he comes back the EUNI blob is just ridiculous. He calls quits and I don't blame him. I decide to hang around a little longer and see what happens. You know what, let's give this a try, hell yeah!

Nah, this thread has been dead for like two months.
But in all seriousness, follow the OP and we will set you up with a mentor.

If you want to be the special snowflake you can go to the chinese server(serenity), which is separate from tranquillity :D Finally back at home after few months, time to play eve a bit. In the few months I was inactive my old corp seems to have dissolved But to do something we took few laser megathrons to say hi to test. Great success, got a afking hulk at the station.

Laser megathron? Is that a thing? Cuz if not, I'm going to make it a thing.
