Am I missing something here? Is FW something that most people don't know about? If it's well-known, super-profitable, and super-easy, it seems to go counter to common-sense economics that it will stay that way, but I'm 99.9% sure FW is nothing new, unless they changed something. All eve players assume that they have nothing to learn and that they're doing it right in all contexts. The lack of a 1v1 matchmaking system and rankings means that they have no real feedback regarding how well they're doing. This is why discussing eve with anyone not in the hatchery is frustrating, they're so uninformed that they don't even have the ground knowledge to understand how clueless they are. The sandbox lets everyone do what they like without handing out gold stars or slaps, the strange kid sitting in the corner eating the sand doesn't know that you're meant to make castles with it.

I am interested in learning more about FW. If someone has a minute it would be appreciated.
I can fly a Mach with no T2 weaps. T2 drones, and decent support skills.
I also have a good idea of how to scan sites if that helps and am close to selling a hulk pilot that might give me enough Isk to buy a Tengu pilot.
Thanks in advance,

Re: Above
This FW thing is for new chars only, or 51's.
I have started another 51 and will let you guys know how it goes in a few days.
The plus side to this is that when you start a new Caldari 51, you start a mere 3 jumps away from Jita and will have no problem getting in to that Merlin.
Thanks,

For information about how to get started in FW you can always go to the channel FW Dojo. It was created shortly after the fw changes by a number of ninjas from ninja dojo after I was explaining to them how stupidly easy it is to make isk in fw. It has since taken on a bit of a life of its own and you can find some very helpful people there who can teach you how to take your ~10 hour old character and make silly amounts of isk with it.
For advanced information on how to make truely insane isk, please bother kwark because im tired of explaining FW to people.

Unless you are in the hatchery faction warfare is shit and you should not do it, running lvl 4 missions is where i get most of none of my money
|
I get most of my money from my high sec Mineing ops. Good reliable isk that I only have to donate one days haul a week in order to get discounts on things from kwark.

I started a char for this FW and it's pretty ridiculous. I made 130 mil in the hour or so it took me to run about 6 complexes. As long as you keep a eye on the game and not go completely afk, you can easily grind while doing other productive things (like class work for those in school). Fantastic way to make isk that I never knew about.

Sitting on a shit ton of Minnie FW LP if someone wants to buy it, don't particularly care to do the work in hauling stuff. Also mainly because I am retarded and can't figure out what exactly to spend it on for profit (I have an idea but It's probably wrong)

Just pick any implant in the lp store when Minmatar wzc is at t5 and you will earn over 5k isk lp...

So CCP wants to "fix" Moon Goo/Technetium:
Our first step in fixing the moon mineral and tech two production economies is to expand alchemy to every applicable reaction. You will soon be able to create Platinum Technite without using Technetium if you so desire. http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=73051
This will be great!
|
Have to fix it becasue 0.0 is owned by a single entity at this point.
|
I just moved over to Red vs Blue and I can say its a blast! Soloing is kinda hard but for some nice 20vs20 brawls with frigates and cruisers you cant beat it. There always seems to be a fleet out brawling with another fleet. IF you want some 1v1 you can always request in local and someone is always happy to come fight you.

Fantastic more poses, business will be good.
|
yeah much much more PoS since they are also fixing the anchoring problem.
From what Greyscale said over the ATX stream there will be a unlimited amount of poses available per system. They just need to decide on a minimum distance inbetween them.
Also getting rid of PoS buildings outside of the PoS itself. All the SMA's etc will be inside the PoS except for guns.
Also there will be no shield supposedly.

When did he say that? I can't believe I missed the part where he was talking about the POS revamp.
