I'm sure the gameplay is extremely deep and advanced, but with the lack of better words.. it seems kind of boring? And is there actually any SKILL involved in the game for pvp? Or it just based on knowledge/experience? Every single video ive watched i keep asking myself "where is the excitement?" Guess im too much into fast paced/action games to really get into this, even though ive played tons of mmorpgs.

The character development and attachment that is so key to mmorpgs seem to go lost when your "character" is a ship.. Well, when ambulation comes out, you'll have a character and be able to walk in stations. I'm sure the gameplay is extremely deep and advanced, but with the lack of better words.. it seems kind of boring? And is there actually any SKILL involved in the game for pvp? Or it just based on knowledge/experience? Correct on both accounts IMO. It's why I never play for too long a stretch. There's a certain amount of skill involved but EVE is primarily a knowledge based game. Still, there are a lot of dumb pilots out there... The one exception may be FCing (fleet commanding). o, and in the new patch, it is being reported that: - Race/Bloodline/School is now completely irrelevant...it makes no difference to the skills you get now. It's simply for looks and lolRP reasons. - Skill training is now accelerated at double the rate for the first 1.6m SP - All characters receive the same base attributes - All characters can change attributes for free twice in the first 1.6m SP this is subject to change but it is what is currently shown on the test server.

or jst a heavy dictor/ rapier and things get dirty! coolest thing its to make cyno and jump with a carrier or smth and pwn ppl at least i was doing it vs farmers aka chins was so funny to catch them into the bubble 4-5 bs and cyno my carrier/aeon pvp its all about teamwork, so for that each one must understand and play hes role very well, i mean tackler damage dealer and ew and also fc-ing (fleet commanding) its very important. I mean to call the targets properly and survive alot together. Coolest things i`ve done its with alot of blastertrons with remote and jumping in big camps even u know u prolly get killed if ure called primary its always fun to been remote rep and kill more then u lose and even win and get the whole loot btw falcons are gay if u know how to use them! so go train for those !

Edit: That goes for anyone else that wants an extended trial too. I have three 21-day trials left that I can hand out. That gives you an additional week over the default trial.

Just don't be afraid to lose your ship(s). That's the biggest mistake new PVPers make.

Learn to use your scanner properly and you should be able to find random idiots in low-sec belts to smash up at a decent pace. If you wanted more people to pvp with you could join the NPC run faction militias which generally have small fleets running 23/7. Just don't be afraid to lose your ship(s). That's the biggest mistake new PVPers make. Frigates are really the only fun PvP now because EvE devs have repeatedly massacred the speed of larger ships. You used to be able to actually go at a decent speed in a battleship, not so anymore. Eve used to be a much faster game and much more quickly paced, now anything above really assault frigate is deathly slow.

Highsec: I'am only there to shop with my alt. Lowsec Piracy. Been there, done it extensively. Love it, hate it. 0.0: Love it, many pirates can never become a good 00 player since losing a ship makes them sad 0.0 pvpers say: Drats, Ill get another one. Amarr is quite good skill intensive, you do require thoose t2 lazers to be there. Their cruiser hulls are subpar to matar & gallent, stabber/rupture/thorax/vexor Minmatar, high skilled phoon is their best bs. Hurricane is godly with t2 guns and my favorite bc ingame, great for solo, piracy, 0.0 and so on. Excellent platform. The hurricane rocks, I cant use enough words to tell you how effing good this ship is flown right and fitted right. Gallente: High damage, closerange, do or die. Dominix is a great missionrunner ship, a great pvp ship. Very flexible platform. Probably the most flexible, you never know what a domi is there to do till you scan it or its dead. Megathron is pure sexy. Vexor is a great cruiser. Brutix is fun, myrm is also fun but both < hurricane. Caldari: Blackbird, Scorpion. ECM help your buddies on the field with this. Blackbird is cheap cruiser and takes about, a week to skill for? And you'll be of use in any gang. Except if your fighting at gates ofc. More on that later. Drake, Caracal, Raven. The missionboats. Not to good at much else to. Fleet support killers. Creativity with ravens get you a long way. -------------------- Ask me anything regarding missions, piracy, how to fit your ship and you will receive an answer. I've been holding alot of classes for begineers to get them up to speed. talk to Vim in the TL channel =)
