This is a game for playstation 1 and it was like an action-platformer type game, I don't remember much except there seemed to be 3 types of attack styles and they were coloured (Purple, Blue and Yellow possibly?)

One thing I do definitely remember is that the final boss battle was like a 3D chess board and it was really difficult

MediEvil had a huge chessboard but I don't remember it being the final boss.
I've been around since it all started, and it feels good

I need some help here. I'm looking for a horror game, which I have never played. The only thing I've seen is this clip from it. At least part of it takes place in a mansion, and you're in some basement and you turn on a generator and the whole mansion starts to shake and fall apart, and in general crazy shit starts to happen. I want to say it was made in the early 2000's, and if it wasn't the second game, there are at least two games in the series.

Shitty description, hopefully someone can make sense of it.

Perhaps some sort of castlevania? somehow it also reminds me of Mortyr, but if there were nazis in it you would've said so i guess :D

btw, anyone remembers a platformer game where you're a guy running around, tossing your helmet as a boomerang which also works as shield to block the first hit you suffer (and you lose it in the process)?

All right, here's one from my commodore 64 days.

I remember it being a one-screen game (no scrolling), with a top-down view. You could play co-op, and you would spawn in each your bottom left and right corner. There was kinda a maze somewhat pacman-style, with enemies roaming around that you were supposed to shoot. The maze started out blue, but the colors changed as you got through stages. Most stages had like a few mobs you had to kill to progress, and every so many stages, you'd get a boss stage with a super-fast, bigger version of the regular mob. THe only mobs I can recall right now are lions and flies. My pal and I called the game 'the lion game', but I got no clue what it was actually called.

Anyone remember that one?

No, it was a first person game. It may have been late 90's too, somewhere in the '97-'02 range. It had pretty close to Half-Life level graphics. I saw it here once, but I can't find the thread for it. It was in some thread about horror games, and I swear it was a thread about games like Amnesia (overrated, btw), but I couldn't find the thread (I found several threads about games similar to Amnesia, but not the one I'm looking for).

Looking for an online multiplayer airplane shooting game. It had cartoony graphics. You could pick from ~5 different types of planes, including a fighter and a bomber. There was at the very least a free for all and team capture the flag type mode. It had a following on TL, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

I've been looking for an old DOS game for a long time. It was back in the shareware days when you had a CD full of half-completed games that you'd have to unlock to get the whole package.

It was a space shooter with a decent story. You could fly to other planets in a giant universe and upgrade technology/weapons. I remember being very frustrated because at one point during the missions, it would send you to a far away planet that would take like 15 minutes to get there, but then when you're almost there your ship would inexplicably blow up to some invisible barrier. That's all I really remember of it.

Okay I realize this will be a very, veeeeery tough one, but maybe some of you older guys out there will remember this, despite my shitty description of it (or lack thereof):
I'm looking for a C64 game (yeah, Commodore 64), an RPG, where you would wander around a pixelated map, searching for 3 keys (I think it was 3). The only other thing I remember was that, while you were doing that, you were fighting monsters (I think this was mostly, or completely, text-based) and sometimes random people would decide to join your army. I know this isn't much and I probably won't find this game ever again, but one can hope.

I once had such a CD with WarCraft I, Doom, and Descent on it... and some others that I forget D:

That being said... reminds me vaguely of Star Control II ("The Ur-Quan Masters"), but it doesn't sound quite right....

I remember there was this one floppy disk game I played where you were some pixellated bald guy in sunglasses. You would walk around in a maze and shoot random humans that appeared. I remember that there were these guys dressed in red that would be a lot faster than ordinary humans.

Anyone remember something like this?
