Games that are good/harder will have a huge community behind them, aka sc and cs. except that's not what you're arguing. you're arguing that games that are good will have huge sponsors/leagues available to them anyway, please define to me what you consider as 'wide' league/sponsor support. because i would argue that neither the old unreals nor the old quakes had it, yet they were fucking awesome. moreover i still dont see why you're restricting it to fps only when it's clearly not a genre-specific point. and if it is, then did you miss the fact that gunz isnt an fps. anyway, AoX anyone?
...? I still don't get it. I'm arguing that one of the qualities of a good competitive game is large player/higher skilled player competition base. That's one of the qualities that makes a game competitive. GunZ can be described as an FPS, so don't know why you made that point. I've played the game as apparent from my other posts I know its not purely FPS.
There's no sponsored teams and wide league support such as for games like super smash brothers, cs, sc, dota, war3, etc....These games have teams that play consistently, meaning annually at a big lan or through leagues. GunZ is an inferior competitive game in my book, and one way of looking at it is through its laughable competitive population. This is the last post I'll make since we have a lot of conflict on definitions.
Bottom line is GunZ is fun with friends, it has competition potential it has its own sub-skillsets that are extremely difficult, but its not anything like the big games. Don't try to make GunZ something it isn't.

ok, i guess the main argument here is the definition of competitiveness. you seem to imply the major factor is popularity whereas i think it is gameplay. i guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

actually they just look nicer. in terms of actual gameplay mechanics, males are superior in every aspect from spray to certain moves that females simply cannot do
everyone still plays females though lol
anyway gf's heavonearth, 'twas fun. ill play again tomorrow for a lil bit if anyone wants to. probably around same time as this

ok.. our team liquid meeting zone is then officially quest 3?

Id say cs 1.6 is harder than gunz. I have a killer headache right now so ill probably edit later and make a more complete response.

Yeah well, K-Styling needs low ping usually, if not it's really hard but basically you are calm and defensive while looking for wholes to burst damage.
1v1 K-Style is not very fun. But some K-Stylers vs pubs is SO fun.
