But saying that, picking lycan in an -apxl game in 6.54b is so lame. As he is proper imba. You guys should be playing 6.52e for competitive games. Its better balanced. Testie played meepo well. Who is this KOR team? Was zulu_nation on that team? I thought zulu_nation was wanting to organise a game vs TL team?

I thought zulu_nation was wanting to organise a game vs TL team? They had no qualsm playing .54b, and we were looking for a strong secondary carry (we wanted Leoric, but they picked him), so we went with a hero that could let warlock solo and level up fast. They picked lycan and I was going to be happy soloing btm lane as warlock, but jf said he has never jungled lycan, so i had to jungle him instead. I was prepared to counter ward jungle to deal with their wards, its just their wards never came. Kor team was Heen, 3 of his xd. friends, and Ack game 1. Game 2 was just bdares in instead of ack. Game 2 line ups were: (i dont remember bans/picks) Sent: Top: Necro/ES mid: meepo btm: potm/jugg Scourge: Top: DK/Lion pulling creeps mid: pit lord btm: Tide/Lich Pretty much this game was slower imo, I got fb'd due to stupidity, but then top lane we trade off multiple kills and eventually our lane was up in kills, leaving dk under farmed going into mid game. Pit lord farmed entire game and had little items to stop meepo (would be better to send lich or lion mid to vs meepo). Testie just farmed up at a reasonable rate then went on killing streaks to rape their entire team.

And although Lycan was not the one with alot of kills, he pretty much guaranteed you that win. I am not a fan of 6.54 lycan at all. I think its not balanced that the only way to counter lycan is to get mass disables, (slow is uesless), and having to pretty much pick a whole team to counter one hero on a line up is crazy. That is why I say play the more balanced map of 6.52e for any serious competitive games (Esp -apxl). And another reason why scourge should have warded sent forest all game was meepo, as with meepo, they will split up and farm creeps in woods, giving scourge a chance to gang him catching meepo off guard (as testie would be watching his meepo in lane, while simply just "auto" attacking a neutral spawn)

Playing leroic with warlock would have been much worse. Warlock is MUCH better soloing rather than babysitting. Because if warlock babysits he is wasted imo. He shines in mid game when he is a level or 2 ahead the other team. When he is in a duel lane he is not as effective and pretty much other than pulling off a good initiation isnt as strong. So yea, if you gonna play warlock you should always solo him. Going for a jungler is just right. But as I said, scourge played poor. They did not ward sent forest, they did not gang lycan at all, and scourge just didint gang the right heroes. Lycan was able to happily and safely farm jungle most of the game, giving your team a significant EXP advantage. I prefer to play support and play extremely well as a support hero. Warlock solo is normally great, but i dual lane warlock alot and he really is just as effective dual lane or solo depending on who he is baby sitting. With a Leoric, i would continuously pull to stay ahead of dual lane levels/behind solo, and giving me a steady income to get up to the items i need (refresher/book/guinsoo depending on how the game was going) while leoric pretty much could stay in lane due to being ahead of lich/tide and having high hp. Im not saying their play was poor, but i as lycan was ready to counter ward, slowing my jungle by less than 30 seconds minimum. I do think I contributed to solidifying the win, because all their ults were pretty much wasted to kill meepo, and meepo does alot of damage even if he dies near the end of the fight, leaving me as lycan to just clean up. You also don't give testie's meepo enough credit on the part saying he doesnt pay attention to jungle. He doesn't attack move neutrals, he uses poof to jungle as fast as he can and rotates meepos (at 6 he jungles his main guy because he has higher stats/hp, leaving his clone in lane, then at 11 leaves main in lane/roam while others jungle/stay in a lane). Catching him off guard would be hard as well since we had wards up and if they counter warded I would just place them in other spots that see our entrance to jungle.

I assure you I am quite observant. ;p + Before giving advice you should try to practice what you preach. Aka try to do it yourself. The thing with meepo is, what my strategy revolves around, is if they focus me too much, my allies will get strong. If they do not focus me and kill my allies, I will win and my allies will be delayed, but they will, eventually get strong. And to Bly, fuck dagger on meepo. Lothars >>>>>>> Dagger

Against any 2 gankers with a team of competent players your Meepo would be massacred four folds. Me + SL + Alven + JF + Anyone else VS You and any one you want (Excluding really competent players, you can have like, Kelf) Last I remember, you'd only win one out of four games with Meepo. I don't see what this sudden Testie+Meepo=win surge is. The equation is clearly false! Yes Testie, it was a challenge! Let this be my return Show Match. Edit: About that strategy, how does it do when people actually push at 30min mark? Or is that a TL-Only strategy? Like, instead of focusing too much on your allies or you, we'll just focus on your towers. Do you usually leave your team 4v5 when it comes to that? Why does this strat seem like the old coL, style of gaming with Ezy and Clinkz. While were on that, did Fear claim his fame back? Or was he terrible? >.>'' My old idol.

Meepo is a bitch though if you dont have a disable, cuz if you do try to gang him, he just goes *poof* and disappears ![]() also playing versus a good meepo too can be really confusing, if you have your 3-4 meepos all in different lane/locations. =] Oh regarding alventines comment regarding warlock. Well yea, I do see your point there. I guess I dont like playing babysit warlock. I prefer a much aggro warlock ^^ Thats just me.
