I love her. High damage, brutal okizeme. Fragile as glass, huge hitbox, average normals. I still have problems with one of her main damage dealing tool, the Ice Spike FRC. Especially with Icespike FRC IAD combos. Those are freakin hard.. IMO this is the hardest FRC in the game.. Sometimes I can do it 80% of the time, sometimes 20%. My idols and senseis this time are (matchvids in the spoiler tags): Makoto, the genius Dizzy: + Show Spoiler + http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TiaeP5q-s0&feature=related H.H, the solid Dizzy: + Show Spoiler + SatoQ, another very creative and cool Dizzy: + Show Spoiler + I am learning different fish-scythe-bubble oki setups, and pseudo blockstrings and reversal baiter setups right now. In the end, I found the character who suits me!

Anyhow, played Sugoi AH2 for about an hour, about to head out of town but some Akane notes: 5B is un-airblockable, clashes well, and hits a big area over Akane's head (will hit crossups if they jumped over you late lolol). Jump cancellable as well! Though Akane is one of the few characters who will want to do 2B over 5B in combos. jB is pretty good, somewhere between AH1 and AHF Konoha jB in terms of clash/priority, but it has a lot more range than anything Konoha has. Ground 22x gives a power up dot (A = 1, B = 2, C = 3), each dot lets you cancel her specials into another one. Mostly used it to do ghetto stuff like 2A > 2B > 5C 5D jA > B JC djA > B > C XX 623x > 63214x. Can probably mess with it to get the spacing to do 623x > 22A into whatever. Hour 1 impressions of all her moves that I remember: 5A - some slow-ish, short range knee. Dunno, might be useful in a combo somewhere. 2A - looooong range and pretty quick, rapid fire. Hits low. jA - good downwards angle, can't chain into itself and it stays out a LONG time so if you whiff, you can probably get hit. 5B - mentioned above- unairblockable, clashes, hits all over her head, JCable, maybe special cancellable. 2B - looks like it hits low, (S?)JCable, probably special cancellable. Better range and hitbox as a ground poke than 5B (though fishing for clashes with 5B is hilarious). jB - mentioned already, good reach, pretty quick, clashes well, JCable. 5C - 2 hits, second hit launches like a 2E. Only homing cancellable. First hit steps forward a good bit so the range where you can hit this is fairly forgiving. 6C - slow overhead, ground techable splat on hit. Dunno what to use this for except to kill people who don't mash when they're almost dead. jC - hits upwards, seems pretty decent, like a shorter range Kamui jB almost? Not sure, need to mess with it more. 5E - pretty much Lilica's 5E! Maybe a bit less of a hop before it. 2E - backflips and flies pretty far back. Have to mess with it, seems like it could be really good or really bad. jE - short ranged stomp kick thing. Knocks down like a jE is supposed to. Specials- 22x - powerups, A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, all special chains use one dot. ALL specials can be special chained when you have at least one dot. 236x - slidekick into launcher flip kick into back roll, can be homing cancelled or special chained when either hit makes contact. 41236x - teleport dash, A goes forward and can cross up, B goes backwards, C goes up into the air. Can be done in the air. Might have these two moves mixed up in terms of input のヮの. Can special chain into and out of this move, potential tricks all over the place~ 623x - upper kick, lacks horizontal range but sets up some special chains. Can be done in the air. If you don't special chain, you recover on the whole way down =/ j22x - divekick, seems like you can hold it (might only be on C version, not sure). Kinda slow and doesn't seem to combo well? Can special chain of course. 63214x - hit grab, blockable. Techable splat knockdown and I've never combo'd anything off it, though I think I can air combo into this then do poison teleport super? You can act after it hits, but on whiff you are in recovery for a bit (or for a while if you're falling in the air). Can be done in air. 421x - counter, Akane does a pose and if she gets hit by anything that isn't a grab (or maybe a super, though it activates on loveball super), Akane does a flip (short invincibility) into the same animation as her hit grab. Kinda fun to play with. Supers- 623AB - basic auto-combo super, I think it has some followups with dots if you hit buttons at the right timing. Can be done in the air. 214AB - pretty much Konoha's 236AB, dash attack (flaming knee in this case) into launch into clone beatdown. 632146AB (CH) - really fast dash attack, if it hits, Akane pauses for a bit, then dashes through her opponent a few times. Apparently you're supposed to press some buttons during the hits to make her do more hits/damage? I'll mess with it some more, seems like it does pretty decent damage on the 3-hit version.

Also, what is a good computer game (since I dont have any new systems) that I could try out, that maybe have an easy-to-get-into single player and an online for multiplayer? Edit: Preferably not like Marvel vs Capcom, I just saw a video of that in some other topic and holy shit, it was so hard to figure out what was going on with all the pauses and slow mos and crazy ass graphics. Ahhhh!

There is a cool emulator/online game platform called GGPOhttp://www.ggpo.net If you install this, after that you only need the roms (the actual games) http://www.romhustler.net from here. On GGPO, you can play Street fighter 2, Street fighter 3: Third Strike, Street Fighter Alpha 2/3, Garou: Mark of the Wolves. These are originally arcade games, but the emulator does the work. If you have arcades in your environment, you could buy a stick and use it for the games to be able to compete in arcades too. Anyway I just use keyboard.. Lots of people use PlayStation controllers.

Also if you would like there's a PC game called Akatsuki Blitzkampf that has a similar pacing to Street Fighter games and isn't too super combo heavy/flashy. Just another option for PC. Akatsuki would only be for singleplayer though. If you want to play others http://2dfighter.com and GGPO
