For example, if you're playing someone who has tangos and you have salve, you want to get into fights as soon as possible. Be very aggresive and make him lose a lot of hp early on (at the cost of your hp, why not). Then you have instant heal and he need to slowly regen on tangos. You can use that extra advantage to keep him at bay, as he can no longer engage in fights until he regens. Tangos are good because you can keep using them and staying on lane in 2v2 lanes where there's a lot of harassing going on, and they can also help you escape or do fancy moves (even surprise paths through trees), like in the Tiny vs Magina scene in Perceptive Play. As for QB, it's especially useful on heroes that have a different battle fury animation, like tide hunter or yurnero, because it gives them this animation all the time. And for tide hunter it's especially useful because the spinning animation is KICKASS. Missing creeps is a thing of the past! Also things like TC, tiny, and other high damage early game heroes (most str) gain unfair advantage with 100+ damage on creeps at low levels. | ||

basically each player picks their own abilities through a draft mode from a randomized pool of abilities it's way better than just -arra (ra is random abilities), since you can actually synergize your abilities together with your hero so it goes like this: -arad everyone gets a random hero, then everyone gets 60 seconds to look at the pool of abilities (located in the taverns). to see what hero you have you just open the stat box or look at the hero name next to yours when you chat each player gets 15 seconds to choose either 2 abilities or 1 ultimate (tho in round 2 it's 1 ability or 1 ultimate), and i think the order of who picks first is randomized if you dont pick your abilities in time, you get to pick them later. note: make sure you dont pick abilities that have conflicting hotkeys also please get abilities that go well together and make sense for your hero i swear in every game so far, every fucking newbie player in TL picks abilities that have no synergy and make no fucking sense. one guy, i forget who it was, said they hate this mode and refused to play anymore.. cus he picked such a goddamn shitty set of abilities....FFS please put some effort in and use your brain a little also -apad may be fun as well, though i'd imagine most people would just -random for the extra gold anyway, some may want a hero with great statgain or something :p | ||

Both games we played though were alot of fun, its good to see what people choose on how they want to play the game. | ||
