the new dagger should cost 200 gold and be renamed asap. stupidest change i ever saw in dota. radi -> no blink ffs so why do i ocupy a slot and spend 2000 gold ? this will fuck up the SK ulti->jump thingy ... some random criters might screw ur blink . now u have absolutely no way of escaping luna or viper or some gank. w/e
hope they will change it coz good+ players wont play this.

Sorry about the bitching, Testie. I've always had a really difficult time playing vs. SB. It used to be the same with me and BS, but I just find him to be a mild annoyance and less of an actual threat unless he gets farmed late game like that game where Jiefian or whatever his name is just starting walking around the map killing anything that wasn't friendly. ;;

All you basically need to understand is that these types of heroes are designed as assassins... they lock onto a target, and kill him. Depending on level/item difference, these heroes can insta-kill, or they simply don't have enough damage output and fizzle miserably. SB is one such hero that generally can never insta-kill, but he has a pretty bugger near-perma-bash... even if he brings very little else to a team fight. So if you're REALLY THAT AFRAID of him, be with other people, and more often than not he won't come suiciding 1v2. Unless he's uber farmed, but you're screwed no matter what hero he's using if he's willing to fight 1v2.

EDIT:
Off the top of my head, heroes like this are Queen of Pain, Nerubian Assassin, Spirit Breaker, Bane Elemental, Demon Witch, Lina, etc. They all have a single chain of spells that can kill you instantly or close to it, but they rely on level differential (as their spells lose effectiveness at certain timing intervals + late game) and items (Dagon, Necro, etc.) And if they have the upper hand, well, there's not a whole lot you can do, because they've hit that critical point where they can assassinate. But if you've played these heroes any, you'd notice it's hard as hell to get to that point.

Alrite I just got dota back again and I've tried involker. He seems pretty fun to play.

What are you guys' take on him? I normally just go tornado/stun style for support, and blast/medeor for damage. You guys?
I've yet to try summoning branch or invisible, but it seems invisibility is bit useless atm.

Do you guys try to use invoke to refresh your spells? Seems like if you juggle fast enough you can squeeze all his spells out one at a time w/ furious keystrokes late game. Has anyone attempted that yet? I tried but I always run out of mana so I thought better.

Oh and a take on SB.
Carry a TP scroll with you at all times. If you see your status bar "charge of darkness". Simply TP away.
Either that or you better have some kind of disable, storm hammer, rhasta's chicken/shackle, any impale, invoker's tornado... they'll stop the charge short.

Excello actually disbanded and I believe eddie joined sback.

But yeah, he's pretty good. His sentinel jungle bb is spot-on. I think he's the first to use triple neut pulls in a match with quill spray.

oh nice hes actually known? He randomed Zeus and went about 25-4 or something, all deaths came in late game. I was on his team with 2 of his friends and I randomed bone clinkz and only died like 4 times but we lost at the end for some reason.

He is very known. He's probably top5 players in canada and there's plenty of skill to go around in maple leaf land.
