The iraq war & occupation is something americans should've been able to stop if you believe we're a democracy, but considering that there were unprecidented domestic protest against the war before it even happened and it's still happening just goes to show that we're not as democratic as we're cracked up to be. The Iraq war is shameful but the blame for it isn't really something you can lay at the feet of every US citizen you run into. What're REALLY shameful is the fact that the US re-elected the asshole that started the war. Better to rub that in our faces, imo.
Judicator was probably too young to care about wars when it happened and I wouldn't blame him for that. Especially since he's a gamer and gamers are notoriously oblivious to reality since they spend the majority of their time escaping it.

Tadzio, I was making a general reference to the effectiveness of the "insult", most American gamers wouldn't care because most of us don't care about or follow it, but the Europeans bring it up like all Americans (never mind gamers) closely follow and care about domestic and foreign policy which isn't true. If people said, hey go re-elect Bush (or better yet his Cabinet), sure that I can understand where they are coming from so I agree with you there.
Sure I get the insult, but the main problem I had with people bringing that stuff online is because they fail to understand that each person has their own stance on the matter, whether it matters or not in the end isn't decided solely by that individual. Trying to insult/shame me with the Iraq War is ignorant as hell on their part; sure it's a black spot in the nation's history but you move on, just like this thread should move on from this sidetrack.
